How long does it take to induce lactation?

Metoclopramide is a powerful lactogenic hormone-releasing drug. Using large doses can cause non-lactatory milk secretion and breast pain in some postmenopausal women and men. There are also reports of causing menstrual disorders. Do you know how many days you can take metoclopramide at most?

Metoclopramide is mainly used for indigestion, abdominal distension, hiccups, nausea and vomiting. It is a venous dopamine receptor antagonist that can promote the recovery of upper gastrointestinal motility and support, promote gastrointestinal motility, enhance the motility of the antrum and duodenum, coordinate the contraction of the cardia, and at the same time enhance the motility of the esophagus and the support of the lower esophagus. Because it has poor permeability to the blood-brain barrier and has essentially no inhibitory effect on dopamine receptors in the brain, it can eliminate side effects on the mind and nerve centers.

Doctors recommend that adults take 1 tablet at a time, 2-3 times a day, 15-30 minutes before meals.

Metoclopramide should not be taken frequently, as taking too much will cause drug resistance. Drug resistance, also known as drug resistance, refers to the tolerance of microbial strains, sparganosis and tumor cells to the effects of chemotherapeutic drugs. Once drug resistance occurs, the therapeutic efficacy of the drug is significantly reduced. Depending on the cause of its occurrence, drug resistance can be divided into acquired resistance and natural resistance. Pathogens in nature, such as a certain strain of bacteria, may also have natural drug resistance. When antibiotics are used for a long time, most sensitive strains are continuously eliminated, and resistant strains multiply in large numbers, replacing sensitive strains, causing the resistance rate of bacteria to these drugs to continue to rise. At present, it is believed that the latter method is the main cause of multidrug-resistant bacteria. In order to maintain the effectiveness of antibiotics, great attention should be paid to their rational use.

It is reported that metoclopramide belongs to the gastrokinetic drug and has the effect of promoting gastrointestinal motility. Long-term use may cause male breast enlargement and liver damage. It can be taken for 3-4 weeks, but it varies from person to person.
