Cervical cancer stages

Cervical cancer stages

Female cervical cancer is a major life-threatening disease and is relatively common in clinical medicine. Every examination during the illness period needs to be recorded in detail to facilitate observation of the condition and better medication treatment. During the follow-up examination, you can clearly see the response after taking the medicine, so how do you record the installments for cervical cancer?

1. Stage 0 means that the tumor cells are limited to the epithelial cells of the cervix and there is no external spread or serious condition.

2. The first stage generally refers to the tendency of tumor cells to spread outward, and the severity of the spread of damage is divided into two stages: mild and severe.

3. In the second stage, the tumor cells show a tendency to spread outward and have already invaded most of the vagina or the tissues around the uterus.

4. In the third stage, the vagina has been completely invaded by tumor cells, and the invasion has already spread to the pelvis.

5. In the fourth stage, the tumor cells have spread to the entire uterine cavity and vagina, beyond the scope of the pelvis, and invaded the bladder and other parts.

Different treatment plans are selected according to the different stages of the disease, and the treatment plan is related to the disease condition, the size of the tumor cells, and the age of the patient.

Cervical cancer can be treated by surgical removal to prevent the spread of cervical cancer, radiation therapy, chemotherapy and other methods. Generally speaking, if the patient is not planning to have children, surgical removal is a more complete method, has a higher chance of success, and minimizes the risk of recurrence.
