What kind of leucorrhea is normal?

The normality of secretions is very important for the female body. If the leucorrhea is abnormal, the probability of suffering from gynecological diseases will increase, and it may also affect women's pregnancy. Therefore, in order to have a healthy pregnancy and for health reasons, secretions must be restored. So what is normal vaginal discharge? What kind of secretions are considered normal?

If the secretion is in normal condition, the amount is relatively small, but the amount of secretion during ovulation will be more. This is due to the influence of female hormones. If the amount of secretion is too little or there is little leucorrhea, it may be caused by low ovary. If the amount of secretion is usually large, it may be caused by Trichomonas vaginitis or cervical diseases, and must be examined and treated.

The color of leucorrhea is milky white or transparent. If the leucorrhea changes from yellowish to yellow, dark gray, light green, or dark brown, it means that the discharge is already in an abnormal state. For example, diseases such as vaginitis, cervical polyps, and pelvic inflammatory disease can all cause discharge. The cause must be identified and treated accordingly.

The material and taste of the secretion are very important. The secretion is relatively thin and has a certain viscosity. If the discharge is in the form of tofu dregs, pus, etc., and has a fishy smell, it must be treated promptly. If necessary, an examination must be done and treatment should be carried out with medication to prevent the situation from getting worse.

Women's secretions will change due to the menstrual cycle. The estrogen in women's bodies is the highest during ovulation, which will increase the amount of secretions, and the secretions will appear egg white-like and wire-like. Women often feel that their private parts are very wet, and there will be marks of secretions on their underwear.

After a girl ovulates, she enters the follicular phase, during which estrogen levels increase and the amount of secretions decreases, so the secretions become thicker and contain a lot of ovulated cells. At this time, most of the women's secretions are milky white, and some may also turn yellow.

Women's secretions are also affected by diet, environment, and mentality, and women's hygiene and lifestyle will also affect secretions. For example, if you drink less water on a regular basis, your discharge will easily turn yellow. Continuously eating several meals of chili peppers and seafood will also cause changes in the characteristics of secretions, but they will be restored after a few days, and some slight changes in secretions are normal.
