Menopause is a transitional period from the maturity of women to the decline of old age, marked by the gradual decline of the ovaries until complete disappearance. The onset age of menopause varies from person to person, but can start at 40 years old and last for about 20 years. Menopause is divided into three stages: premenopause, menopause and postmenopause. The precursors or early symptoms of women's menopause are more obvious, and women's menopause can be predicted and analyzed based on the following indicators. 1 Prediction based on family genetics: Since the age of menopause is related to genetic factors, the age of menopause of grandma, mother, and elder sister can be used as a predictive indicator for the age of menopause of grandchildren, daughters, and younger sisters. However, this indicator is not absolute and is easily affected by acquired living conditions, environment, climate, social factors, drugs, diseases and other factors, resulting in early or delayed menopause. 2. Predicting menopause age from menarche age: Most people have observed that the menarche age of girls is positively correlated with the menopause age, that is, the earlier the menarche age, the later the menopause age; conversely, the later the menarche age, the earlier the menopause age. 3. Menstrual disorders: Menstrual disorders are the menstrual manifestations before the last menopause. The manifestations of menstrual changes can be roughly divided into three categories: one is long menstrual intervals, short menstrual duration, small menstrual flow, and then gradually amenorrhea; the second is irregular menstruation, many people have long menstrual duration, heavy menstrual flow, and even vaginal bleeding; some people show continuous dripping, which then gradually decreases until amenorrhea; the third is sudden amenorrhea. Menopause is one of the key indicators of entering menopause. 4 Premonitions of menopause: Women usually have some symptoms before entering menopause. For example, patients feel a sudden sensation of heat spreading upwards in the chest, neck and face, and the skin in the above-mentioned areas becomes red, often accompanied by sweating. Another example is that the menstrual period is relatively regular, and there is no special discomfort before menstruation, but suddenly before a period, there will be breast pain, irritability, insomnia, headache, abdominal distension, body edema and other early menstrual anxiety syndrome; in addition, the occurrence of irritability, anxiety, suspicion and other changes in mental and spiritual aspects are also precursors to entering menopause. Generally, menopause occurs around 45-55 years old, and 43 years old is also normal. The precursors of amenorrhea include menstrual disorders, hot sweats as typical symptoms, or accompanied by irritability, restlessness, insomnia, chest tightness, shortness of breath, headache, abnormal emotions, memory loss, back and leg pain, etc. These are commonly known as menopausal symptoms. |
