Is it normal for a girl to have a lump in her breast?

Everyone knows that women's breasts are very soft, especially healthy women's breasts are not only soft, but also quite elastic. However, some girls feel that there are lumps in their breasts, and it hurts a little when they press them, but it doesn't hurt when they don't press them. I believe everyone has heard of this situation. So many people know whether it is normal for girls to have lumps in their breasts?

Fibrocystic breast disease accounts for more than 75% of all breast diseases and is the most common type of breast disease, occurring in women of all ages after the beginning of puberty. The clinical symptoms of this disease are breast lumps and breast pain as the basic manifestations. About 80% of patients have breast pain, which is mostly bilateral but can also be unilateral. The pain characteristics are divided into distending pain, stabbing pain, shooting pain, dull pain or dull pain. The manifestations of breast pain are often unstable, which may be aggravated before menstruation and is often aggravated by mood changes, fatigue, and weather changes. Breast lumps are the key basis for diagnosing breast disease. Most of them are multiple and the lumps vary in size. The color is hard or tough, the lump does not adhere to the skin, the surface of the lump is often uneven and feels bumpy to the touch. In addition to the above symptoms, some patients have systemic symptoms such as nipple itching, discharge, bitter taste in the mouth, bad breath, rib distension, chest tightness and shortness of breath, anorexia, and menstrual disorders.

Breast pain: general or bilateral breast pain, stabbing pain or dull pain, severe pain that cannot be touched or walked, pain mainly in the swollen breasts, and can radiate to the armpits, chest, shoulders, arms, and upper limbs. Some also present as nipple pain or itching. The pain fluctuates with changes in mood and menstrual cycle, often aggravated before menstruation or when angry, depressed, and significantly relieved or disappeared after menarche.

There are several shapes of female breasts

1. Bowl type

The height-to-width ratio of the breast axis is 2~3cm, which is less than 1/2 of the diameter of the breast base. It belongs to a relatively flat breast.

2. Flat type (egg-shaped)

The length of the breast protrusion is lower than the upper half of the circle of the breast tip, the side looks flat, and the nipple is close to the muscle.

3. Cone type (pointed bamboo shoot type)

The height-to-width ratio of the breast axis is over 6cm, exceeding 1/2 of the diameter of the breast muscle base, and the side looks long and pointed, like an acute triangle.

4. Hemispherical

The height-to-width ratio of the breast axis is 3~5cm, which is approximately 1/2 of the diameter of the breast base. From the side it looks like a semicircle, with the nipple as the standard, and everything above and below the nipple is very round.
