Causes of dull pain in the left lower abdomen of women

Women often experience lower abdominal pain in their daily lives. If the pain only occurs occasionally, you may not pay too much attention to it. However, if the pain occurs frequently, you need to be alert. The following is an analysis of the causes of lower left abdominal pain in women.

1. Chronic dull pain in the left lower abdomen: There are many reasons, and it is often accompanied by lumbar pain and excessive leucorrhea. It is more common in male genital inflammation, endometriosis, adenomyosis, pelvic congestion and psychological pelvic pain.

Inflammation of sexual organs: Women suffer from long-term lumbar and sacral pain and lower abdominal pain, which worsens after sex and during the menstrual cycle. Long-term leucorrhea is often caused by cervicitis. If you experience long-term lower abdominal pain, pain, and lumbar pain, which worsens when you are tired, after sex, or before and after the menstrual cycle, and are accompanied by an imbalanced menstrual cycle and fatigue, it is often caused by chronic pelvic inflammation.

Menstrual pain: There are two types: primary and secondary menstrual pain. Primary dysmenorrhea is more common in adolescent girls, and the cause is unclear. It can usually be cured with aging or after marriage and childbirth. The common causes of secondary dysmenorrhea are endometriosis and adenomyosis.

Tumor pain: When gynecological malignant tumors progress to the terminal stage, unbearable recurrent pain may occur. Dull pain in the left lower abdomen is often accompanied by pain in the lumbar region, and the pain often radiates to the lower limbs.

It is also common in reproductive tract infections such as gonorrhea. This type of sexually transmitted disease includes chlamydia and mycoplasma infections, which usually recur and can cause bilateral pyosalpinx in severe cases.

Non-inflammatory dull pain in the left lower abdomen: commonly caused by ectopic pregnancy, ovarian cyst pedicle torsion and rupture.

1. Rupture of abdominal capillaries caused by ectopic pregnancy. The pain symptoms vary depending on the amount and rate of bleeding.

2. Ovarian cyst pedicle torsion. When the pedicle of an ovarian cyst twists, pain suddenly occurs on one side of the lower abdomen, which is continuous and severe pain, accompanied by nausea, vomiting and vomiting. In addition, ovarian cysts may also rupture, and the contents after rupture may irritate the retroperitoneum and cause pain.

Subacute left lower abdominal pain caused by other reasons: Subacute left lower abdominal pain may occur when uterine perforation occurs during abortion or IUD placement. Uterine and ovarian endometrial cysts (chocolate cysts) can rupture as the cysts grow during the menstrual cycle.
