The female uterus is divided into anterior wall, posterior wall, bottom and lower segment anatomy. The posterior wall of the placenta indicates that the site of embryo attachment is on the posterior wall of the uterus. Farther below the ionization palace.

Under normal circumstances, the embryo adheres to the posterior wall, anterior wall or outer wall of the uterine body. The most dangerous position of the placenta is below. If the embryo adheres to the lower segment of the uterus, or even the lower segment of the embryo reaches or covers the internal os of the cervix, and its position is smaller than the presenting part of the fetus, it is called placenta previa.

Generally speaking, first-time pregnant women will begin to show their belly between 12 and 16 weeks of pregnancy. Mothers who are not having their first child will show their belly earlier because their uterus and waist muscles have already expanded due to previous pregnancies.

Starting from the 12th week of pregnancy, the uterus expands beyond the toes. Before this, your uterus is inside the pelvic cavity, and it is generally not obvious from the outside that you are already pregnant.

If your belly becomes visible early, it may be due to bloating or constipation, both of which are typical characteristics of pregnancy. In rare cases, an early belly may also be due to the pregnancy of twins or twins.

If your belly appears too late, don't worry. The uterus can be located in various places in your body. Sometimes, a woman's uterus tilts to the side and back, which is called retroverted uterus. If that were the case, her belly would show later. On the other hand, if a woman's uterus tilts forward, the belly may appear earlier.

A late belly does not necessarily mean that your baby will be small. During pregnancy checkups, we only measure the uterine height in the second and third trimesters to see if it is slightly low.

If the doctor thinks there may be a problem, he will arrange for you to have a B-ultrasound examination to see if you have calculated the wrong due date. If the gestational age is lower than the actual gestational age, the doctor will monitor the baby's development regularly to ensure everything is normal.
