Can the milk come back again?

Can the milk come back again?

Some mothers run out of breast milk a few days after giving birth, and they are very anxious about this, because we all know that compared with infant formula, breast milk is the best for babies. What should they do if they have no breast milk? Don't worry, as long as the time is not long, there is still a way. Let's discuss whether you can rush home after the milk comes back?

Can I still rush home after the milk has returned after a few days?

Breast milk can still be recovered after weaning. How many days it takes depends on the individual. For some people, it may even take more than ten days. If there is still breast milk, it cannot be fully returned to the body and then recovered. Pay attention to your happy mood, don't be angry or impatient, and let the baby suck more. You can find a professional lactation consultant to help you massage your breasts to stimulate the secretion of prolactin, and then eat some lactation-promoting foods according to your physical condition, and your breast milk will definitely increase slowly.

How to stimulate lactation

Physical massage techniques:

1. Apply hot compress and absorb with a wooden comb. From the base of the breast to the nipple, it is best to use a wooden comb with fine teeth. Be persistent and the milk will be unblocked in two days.

2. Dip a clean cotton towel in warm water and rub in a circular motion from the center of the nipple to the nipple position, applying heat on both sides in turn, 15 minutes on each side, and cooperate with the following massage methods:

(1) Circular massage. Place your hands above and below the breasts and massage the entire breast in a circular motion.

(2) Spiral massage. Hold the breast with one hand, and use the ring finger and middle thumb of the other hand to massage towards the nipple in a spiral shape.

(3) Acupressure massage. Stretch out your hands and place them on both sides of your breasts, squeezing from the breasts to the nipples to shape them.

Sometimes mothers still want to induce lactation after their milk has stopped. A large part of the reason is that weaning their children is not so successful. They are determined to wean their children, but they can't bear to see their babies so uncomfortable, so some mothers will choose to induce lactation after the milk has stopped. If the baby has reached the age to be weaned, it is best to stop it all at once.
