A woman's intuition about pregnancy

A woman's judgment of pregnancy refers to some changes in a woman's body during pregnancy, mainly including: the menstrual period that usually occurs on time suddenly becomes delayed. In this case, women usually consider the possibility of pregnancy; when testing the body temperature during ovulation, if the high temperature phase lasts for more than half a month, the possibility of pregnancy is relatively high.

At the beginning of pregnancy, women usually experience fatigue and drowsiness. In the early stages of pregnancy, they may experience loss of appetite and nausea and vomiting after smelling greasy smells. Their breasts may become enlarged, soft, and sensitive, and their nipples may become hard.

Detection and determination of time

The beginning of pregnancy can be determined in a number of ways. One is to detect the male hormones produced by newly formed embryos. Clinical urine and blood tests can detect pregnancy within 6-8 days after conception. Home urine tests usually take 12-15 days to detect effectively. Both of these methods can only detect pregnancy but cannot tell the time of pregnancy. Pregnancy can also be confirmed by the cessation of menstruation. Menstruation stops earlier than any early pregnancy symptoms (such as morning sickness). In fact, doctors usually calculate the date of pregnancy (that is, the "age" of the test tube embryo) based on the first day of the previous menstrual period reported by the woman. Unless you have very little sexual intercourse, it is difficult to know the exact time of pregnancy.

Because the pregnancy time is basically the same, the test tube embryo and the fetus are only distinguished scientifically and are not easy to distinguish in an actual pregnancy. Pregnancy can be further divided into the fertilization of the egg cell by the male sperm in the fallopian tubes and the subsequent implantation of the embryo.

Post pregnancy test.

1. B-ultrasound (4D color ultrasound): Every pregnant mother will undergo at least 3 B-ultrasounds during the entire pregnancy, approximately after 12 weeks, 24 or 25 weeks, and 36 weeks. In the late stages of pregnancy, B-ultrasound can roughly estimate the weight range of the baby to be born, and can also understand the situation in the uterine cavity, which is convenient for doctors and pregnant women to decide on the method of delivery.

2. Routine blood test: When the pregnant mother goes to the hospital to create a file, a comprehensive and systematic examination will be carried out, including a routine blood test. According to it, whether the pregnant mother has symptoms of gestational diabetes or suffers from other diseases can be known to a certain extent.

3. Fetal monitoring: After 36 weeks of pregnancy, the pregnant mother's fetal monitoring begins. Each time takes at least 15 minutes and the baby's activities will be completed. If you find that the baby's movements are not obvious or very little, the baby may be in a resting state, but it may also be that the baby's condition is not good. The doctor will make a diagnosis based on the actual situation or take further treatment measures for the pregnant mother.

4. Umbilical cord blood flow: The examination of umbilical cord blood flow is carried out based on a Doppler instrument, which is similar to B-ultrasound. However, the umbilical cord blood flow test checks the blood supply of the fetus, and takes this opportunity to check whether the pregnant mother has problems such as intrauterine hypoxia.
