My period stopped for a few days and came back again. What's going on?

Irregular menstruation is not a very dangerous condition. It is caused by women not paying enough attention to their bodies during menstruation. Many women often have irregular menstruation or menstruation disorders. So, what happens when the period just ends? What happened if my period came back after a few days of absence?

My period has stopped for a few days, what's going on?

Irregular menstruation is a common gynecological disease among women in today's fast-paced society. Some women may experience prolonged menstruation, which is manifested by prolonged menstruation and heavy menstrual flow. There are many reasons for irregular menstruation, so what is the reason for the menstrual period to come just a few days after the end of the period?

The method of calculating ovulation according to the menstrual cycle is also called the calendar method. Both menstruation and ovulation are affected by the endocrine hormones of the hypothalamus, pituitary gland and uterus and ovaries and show regular changes. The length of their cycles is the same, both are one cycle per month, and ovulation occurs in the middle of two menstruations. Women's menstrual cycles vary in length, but the time interval between ovulation and the start of the next menstrual period is relatively fixed, usually about 14 days. Based on the relationship between ovulation and menstruation, the ovulation period can be calculated according to the physiological cycle.

The calculation method is to start from the first day of the next menarche, and the last 14 days or minus 14 days is the ovulation period. The ovulation period plus the first 5 days and the last 4 days are called the ovulation period. This is the basic theoretical basis of the rhythm method of contraception. For example, a woman's menstrual cycle is 28 days, and the first day of this menstruation is December 2nd. Then the next menstruation will be on December 30th (December 2nd plus 28 days). Subtract 14 days from December 30th, and December 16th is the ovulation period. The ovulation period, the 5 days before and the 4 days after, that is, December 11-20 is the ovulation period. Except for the menstrual period and ovulation period, the rest of the time is the safe period. During the safe period, there is no need to use any contraceptive drugs or contraceptive tools.
