Secretion test results reference

More and more women attach great importance to their gynecological health. Gynecological inflammation in women not only harms their physical and mental health, but also affects family harmony. The most common gynecological inflammations include pelvic inflammatory disease, metritis and vaginitis. If you want to know whether your gynecology is healthy, you can go to the hospital for a routine leucorrhea examination. The following is a brief introduction to the process of routine leucorrhea examination and the results for reference.

First, let's take a look at the process of routine inspection of leucorrhea. Routine examination of leucorrhea is a common gynecological examination item. Normally, the secretions of people are milky white, high in thickness, and have no fishy smell. Through routine examination of leucorrhea, it can be determined whether a woman has abnormal leucorrhea and can accurately diagnose gynecological inflammation. The process of routine examination of leucorrhea is very simple. You only need to go to the hospital to make an appointment with the gynecology department and have the secretions separated for examination.

Routine examination and testing of leucorrhea includes vaginal pH, cleanliness of leucorrhea, vaginal microbial species, amine odor test, and Gardnerella.

First, vaginal pH. The normal vaginal pH value is between 4 and 4.5, which is slightly alkaline. If the patient's value exceeds the normal range, it may be candidal vaginitis or bacterial vaginitis.

Second, the cleanliness of leucorrhea. The cleanliness of leucorrhea can be divided into four levels under a microscope. If the cleanliness of leucorrhea is level 3 to 4, it confirms that vaginitis has occurred.

Third, the microbial species in the vagina. Normal patients do not have any microorganisms in the vagina, and the test result is negative. If the test is positive, it is confirmed that there are microorganisms such as Trichomonas, Chlamydia, and bacteria.

Fourth, the appearance of the secretions is abnormal. If the vaginal discharge is yellowish, light yellow or light green and has an odor, you may have candidal vaginitis. The discharge is like tofu dregs and leucorrhea, which indicates candidal vaginitis.

The above is a reference for the results of routine leucorrhea examinations. We hope it can help more patients. Patients should refrain from sexual intercourse 24 hours before undergoing routine leucorrhea examination to avoid affecting the test results. The test should not be performed before or after menstruation, during vaginal administration, or during pregnancy. The patient undergoes a secretion test and if any abnormality is found, treatment should be sought promptly.
