Why do women often have nightmares?

In daily life, a painful and unforgettable event often leads to depression and work stress. Sometimes, they can cause nightmares and bad dreams. It is easy to have nightmares after a major surgery or illness, grief over the loss of a loved one, or experiencing or witnessing a beating or a major event, especially for women. Let's discuss the reasons why women have nightmares every day.

The human element of waking up from a nightmare

1. Poor health

People with both Qi and blood deficiency and Qi and blood deficiency are very likely to wake up from nightmares. When you rest at night, some of your organs send "help" signals to your brain due to poor health, which are reflected in your brain and cause you to wake up from nightmares. Therefore, if long-term nightmares wake you up, and long-term mental stress is eliminated, it can basically be judged as physical weakness. You can enhance your immunity by exercising, adjusting your diet, etc., so that the organs in the body can rest when they need to.

2. Wrong sleeping posture

Some people like to sleep on their stomachs at night, which will put pressure on the heart. It makes breathing difficult and the brain lacks oxygen, which makes it very easy to wake up from a nightmare. For the same reason, don't put the door handle on your chest, as it will cause breathing pressure. Some people like to sleep curled up, especially in winter. Maybe it's because the weather is cold and sleeping curled up makes me feel warmer. However, this sleeping posture will make the muscles tense, and when dreaming, you will have nightmares because you want to exert force but cannot. The correct sleeping position should be lying on the right side, or of course lying on your back. The human body must release stress without causing any discomfort. This can prevent nightmares caused by sleeping posture problems.

3. Excessive psychological pressure

“What you think about during the day, you dream about at night.” Nowadays, people inevitably face various work pressures in their daily lives and worry that they cannot handle them or are careless. Such psychological pressure will be sent to sleep and will turn into all kinds of scary people or things. For example, your enemy may turn into a "devil" and constantly attack you; or you may be standing in a very high place, unable to get up or down, but facing the "bottomless abyss" under your feet, you are at a loss... It is recommended to distract yourself before going to bed, don't always think about the pressure you face during the day, put it aside for a while, watch a comedy movie, or listen to a warm song. In short, find a stress-relieving method that suits you.
