Does pelvic inflammatory disease have anything to do with men?

Pelvic inflammatory disease is a common gynecological disease among women, which has a great impact on their normal life. But have you noticed that the main susceptible group of pelvic inflammatory disease is married women with children? Therefore, the occurrence of pelvic inflammatory disease is closely related to the sexual life of the couple, which means that the occurrence of pelvic inflammatory disease is related to men. Let's take a look at it together.

Pelvic inflammatory disease refers to inflammation of the female internal reproductive organs, including the uterus, ovaries, bilateral fallopian tubes, surrounding connective tissue, and retroperitoneum of the pelvis. Girls who do not have menstruation, single girls who have no sex life, or postmenopausal women rarely develop pelvic inflammatory disease, while the incidence rate among married and childbearing women is very high. There are many causes of pelvic inflammatory disease, mainly infection after childbirth, abortion, or surgery inside the uterus such as curettage and hydrotubation. However, many people are also prone to pelvic inflammatory disease due to poor hygiene during menstruation, especially sexual intercourse during menstruation and infection of the reproductive tract.

In fact, in pelvic inflammatory disease infection, unclean sexual life between couples is the key cause of the disease. Because some sexual partners are in high spirits before sexual intercourse, they ignore some environmental hygiene and rush into sex without cleaning.

Unclean sexual history, multiple sexual partners, and starting sexual life at a young age are prone to sexually transmitted diseases, leading to secondary pelvic inflammatory disease. Therefore, pelvic inflammatory disease mostly occurs in sexually active and menstruating women. The incidence of pelvic inflammatory disease has also increased with the increase in premarital cohabitation.

Ladies should learn to protect themselves. If you are not planning to have a baby, you must take adequate contraceptive measures. Women who have repeated abortions are prone to urinary tract inflammation and even infertility. It is not suitable to be overly tired during the menstrual period, pay attention to nutritional supplements, and eat less or even no cold foods.
