Symptoms of pancreatic dysfunction in women

Girls must pay attention to protecting their pancreas in daily life, because only in this way can they ensure that they will not get sick easily. The pancreas is divided into two parts, one is the pancreas and the other is the exocrine gland. If they are insufficient, it will cause diabetes symptoms and even cause high blood sugar. If the blood sugar level cannot be within the normal control range, it will cause many complications.

Symptoms of poor pancreas in women

1. Nausea and retching: Two-thirds of patients have this symptom, which occurs frequently and is a reflex in the early stages. The contents are food and bile. The terminal stage is caused by paralytic ileus, and the excrement is fecal-like. If the patient vomits parasites, pancreatitis with a high incidence of biliary ascariasis is common. Vomiting in patients with alcoholic pancreatitis often occurs during abdominal pain, while vomiting in patients with biliary pancreatitis often occurs after abdominal pain occurs.

2. Abdominal distension: In extremely severe cases, it is caused by the irritation of the abdominal transudate and retroperitoneal bleeding, and paralytic intestinal obstruction causes intestinal gas and fluid accumulation, resulting in abdominal distension.

3. Jaundice: About 20% of patients develop varying degrees of jaundice 1 to 2 days after the onset of the disease. The reasons may be the coexistence of bile duct stones, causing bile duct obstruction, or the swollen pancreatic head being compressed under the gallbladder, or liver function damage causing jaundice. The more severe the jaundice, the more serious the condition and the poorer the prognosis.

Causes of pancreatic dysfunction

1. Alcoholism and overeating. Alcoholism and overeating can stimulate the pancreas to secrete a large amount of pepsin and digestive enzymes, which can also cause duodenal papilledema and Oddi dilatation, resulting in the unsmooth secretion of pepsin and digestive enzymes, thereby causing pancreatitis.

2. Biliary stones. The bile secreted by the bile duct is also secreted into the duodenum through the duodenal papilla. In 70% to 80% of normal people, the pancreatic duct and gallbladder have a mutual passage before entering the duodenum. Therefore, if the gallstones in patients with gallstones cause obstruction in this communication channel with pancreatic juice secretion, pancreatitis may also occur.
