Early symptoms and contraindications of pregnancy

There are many things that need to be paid attention to after pregnancy. I am afraid that I will have miscarriage if I am not careful. This is a new lesson that some women should learn well. Therefore, many women who don’t understand ask questions in these areas, even though they have read a lot of related content. So, what are the symptoms and common problems in the early days of pregnancy? Next, let me tell you about them in detail.

Symptoms and common problems in the early days of pregnancy

The first two or three months of pregnancy is a critical stage in the development of the embryo, and it is also the time period most prone to miscarriage, so problems in early pregnancy are extremely important.

1. Control your sexual life

A couple's married life refers to their normal food, clothing, housing and transportation after marriage. But when your wife is pregnant, how you conduct your sexual life is something that should be taken seriously. In order to ensure the health of the fetus, sexual intercourse should be avoided during the first three months of pregnancy.

2. This condition requires medical attention

For pregnant women, the most dangerous things in the early stages of pregnancy are ectopic pregnancy and miscarriage. When these two situations occur, pregnant women will experience abdominal pain and vaginal bleeding. Therefore, if pregnant women find abdominal pain or vaginal bleeding, they need to see a doctor immediately.

3. Take folic acid tablets to prevent fetal malformation

In order to prevent fetal malformations, pregnant women need to take folic acid tablets from the early stages of pregnancy (preferably from the beginning of planned pregnancy). Foods containing folic acid include red amaranth, broccoli, lettuce, wild rice stem, legumes, yeast, small animal liver, apples, citrus fruits, etc.

4. Prenatal check-up

Prenatal testing can rule out some key abnormalities and can be done as early as 8 weeks of pregnancy. At present, the most common method of checking chromosomes is regular peripheral blood screening. If necessary, amniocentesis can be performed at 16-20 weeks of pregnancy for further diagnosis.

5. Be careful with radiation sources

In daily life, we are still unable to tell what radiation sources will affect the fetus. Therefore, experts still recommend that pregnant women wear anti-radiation clothing, stay away from the TV when watching TV series, stay away from the microwave when in use, and do not hang the mobile phone on the chest.

Sudden sleepiness during early pregnancy

Early in pregnancy, you may start to feel very sleepy during the day. This sudden feeling of drowsiness is caused by a surge in your body’s progesterone (also known as the “corpus luteum”), a female hormone that helps regulate the menstrual cycle and has a calming effect on the urinary system. The sudden increase in this natural compound can make a normal workday feel like a marathon. You may feel exhausted and feel like you have a cold.

Although progesterone makes you feel sleepy, it can actually affect your sleep quality at night and make you more tired during the day. There's really no better solution to this problem than to get as much rest as possible, even if you can't sleep at all. You need to understand that the time you spend in bed is not necessarily the time you fall asleep, so once you feel tired, you need to take a nap as soon as possible.
