ab blood type female

Type AB is a new blood type formed by the combination of type A whites and type B Asians. In blood type research 1,000 or 1,200 years ago, type AB did not exist. It is the latest and rarest blood type, accounting for only about 5% of the total population. People with AB blood type do not carry anti-A and anti-B antigens in their blood cells, but their blood cells contain AB antigens.

The general principle of blood transfusion is to transfuse blood of the same type. That is to say, under normal circumstances, people with type A blood receive type A blood, and people with type B blood receive type B blood. In an emergency, people with AB blood type can accept anyone with different blood types, and people with O blood type can lose to anyone with different blood types. Therefore, the intravenous injection conditions of AB blood type are also divided into general conditions and emergency conditions.

Generally speaking, if people with AB blood type need intravenous injection, the blood supply may be less than that of other blood types. For people with AB blood type, only people with AB blood type can be given intravenous injection, and RH blood type is also required. If they are not matched, hemolysis may occur. Although the blood cells of people with AB blood type do not carry anti-A and anti-B antigens, their blood cells contain A and B antigens. Because the intravenous injection of different blood types is too fast and too much, the infused agglutinin cannot keep up with the diluent, which may cause blood cell coagulation. If other blood types are used, transfusion reactions may occur easily.

For people with different blood types, intravenous injection should only be used in emergency situations and as a last resort. In an emergency, people with AB blood type can accept other blood types, including A, B, O and other blood types. But the principle is the same, O-type blood can also be defeated by people with other blood types in an emergency.

In addition, due to the large number of blood type systems in human beings, it is prudent to carry out a cross-matching test before ABO blood type injection. That is, not only the blood cells of the donor and the blood cells of the recipient are tested for blood type compatibility, but also the blood cells of the recipient and the blood cells of the donor are tested for blood type compatibility. Only when the two blood types match and there is no agglutination reaction, can the blood be considered compatible and can intravenous injection be carried out.
