Fluid discharge during early pregnancy

Fluid discharge during early pregnancy

Pregnant women who are in the early stages of pregnancy always feel very panicked because many abnormal symptoms will appear in their bodies during this period. In addition, the probability of spontaneous abortion in the early stages of pregnancy is relatively high, so pregnant women during this period will be extra cautious. If pregnant women find liquid flowing out of their lower body, they will always feel helpless. So what is going on when liquid flows out in the early stages of pregnancy?

Is it normal to have water flowing out from your vagina when you just get pregnant? We know that just getting pregnant refers to the early stages of pregnancy. In the early stages of pregnancy, many women will experience some symptoms. Because they have no experience, many women who are pregnant for the first time will inevitably be at a loss. When I first got pregnant, water was flowing out from my lower body, and I needed to figure out what it was. Generally, it is the vaginal discharge in early pregnancy, also known as leucorrhea, and what flows out is watery leucorrhea, which means that the color has not changed. However, in the late pregnancy, if water flows out, it may be amniotic fluid leakage, which does not exist in the early pregnancy. But at the same time as water flows out, the pregnant woman has abnormal symptoms such as abdominal pain. This also needs to be taken seriously and may be a sign of miscarriage.

What happens when water flows out from your vagina just after you get pregnant? Occasionally, water flows out from your vagina just after you get pregnant. This is usually caused by leucorrhea. This is because after a woman becomes pregnant, the placenta will secrete some estrogen and progesterone. Under the influence of these two hormones, the mucosa of the female vagina will become edematous and congested, resulting in more exudate than when she is not pregnant. Observe the flowing water, it may be thicker than usual, but generally has no peculiar smell. If it has a peculiar smell, you need to go to the hospital for treatment in time.

Based on what has been said above, we know that pregnancy is a happy thing, but we must pay attention to the changes in the female body in time and understand some conditions that may occur in the body. It is normal to have occasional vaginal discharge during pregnancy. But we need to observe the color, smell, etc. of the leucorrhea. If the color and smell are normal, then it is a very normal physiological change.

What does it mean when I discharge brown liquid in early pregnancy?

1. Stimulate menstruation

Some female friends found out that they were pregnant, but they also had brown discharge and thought it was menstruation. In fact, this is stimulated menstruation. It is harmless to the health of pregnant women and fetuses and usually occurs within three months of pregnancy.

2. Biochemical pregnancy

Biochemical pregnancy is called subclinical miscarriage or hidden miscarriage, which is mainly caused by the failure of the fertilized egg to implant. The characteristic of biochemical pregnancy is that the HCG value is relatively high, and the urine test with early pregnancy test paper will also show positive, but the gestational sac cannot be detected by B-ultrasound. At the same time, brown secretions will appear, and normal menstruation will come afterwards.

3. Cervical disease

The appearance of brown discharge in early pregnancy is also related to cervical disease. For example, if brown discharge appears after sexual intercourse, it is basically related to cervical erosion. In addition to cervical erosion, cervical polyps can also cause brown discharge.

4. Ectopic pregnancy

If the fertilized egg does not implant in the uterine cavity but pregnancy occurs, after excluding biochemical pregnancy, it will be diagnosed as an ectopic pregnancy. An ectopic pregnancy is characterized by brown discharge and abdominal pain that continues to get worse. Ectopic pregnancy needs to be treated promptly, otherwise it will cause great harm.

After pregnancy, if brown discharge occurs, you must pay enough attention to it. It is best to go to a regular hospital for diagnosis in time. After finding the cause, take effective measures to treat it, so as to avoid causing more serious harm to women's health.
