Why do girls have hair around their nipples?

Nowadays, women are very concerned about whether their breasts are big or small, but very few women care about whether their breasts are healthy. All symptoms are manifested externally, so when there are any abnormal manifestations in the chest, we should pay attention to it. Most women have clean breasts, but a very small number of women have hair on their nipples. What is the reason for this? Is it normal to have more hair around the nipples? Let's take a closer look.

1. The reason why the areola around women's nipples grows hair

Normal reason: Every woman has hair follicles around her nipples. From the beginning of human growth and development, the nipples will begin to have more hair, but some people have more and some people have less. If you feel that there is hair growing around your nipples and you can't stand the sight of it, you can use scissors to cut it off. If you think your nipple hair is unsightly, you can remove it or use laser treatment for permanent hair removal. But remember, you cannot shave with a razor or pluck with medical tweezers, as this will increase the risk of inflammation inside the hair and hair follicles.

Abnormal cause: caused by polycystic ovarian syndrome. Polycystic ovary syndrome is an endocrine disease characterized by enlarged ovaries with numerous fluid-filled cysts, elevated testosterone levels, and inability to ovulate. Because the male hormone level is too high and ovulation cannot occur, the patient may suffer from infertility. The patient will also have excessive hair, excessive hair around the nipples, and be prone to acne, oily skin, obesity and other symptoms. If you find that you have other symptoms besides excessive nipple hair, you must go to the hospital for a physical examination in time.

2. Other conditions that may cause breast abnormalities

1. Hard lumps

Lumps that are accompanied by slow growth and development and significant pain are mostly well-developed hyperplasia or inflammation; lumps that grow rapidly and have unclear boundaries need to be checked as soon as possible.

2. Nipple discharge during non-breastfeeding period

There are many reasons for nipple discharge. In addition to breast hyperplasia, there are also breast tuberculosis, mastitis, breast cancer, etc. Some women's endocrine disorders can also cause nipple discharge. This disease can be benign or malignant and needs to be examined promptly.
