A successful experience with retroverted uterus

A successful experience with retroverted uterus

Retroverted uterus is a common condition in the female body. There are many reasons for it. It is usually a congenital phenomenon or caused by inflammation after an artificial abortion. Retroverted uterus makes it difficult to conceive, which can be improved by sleeping posture. You can also calculate that the chances of conception will be greater if you have sex during ovulation.

What is the experience of successful conception with retroverted uterus?

Medical treatment

Retroverted uterus is mostly congenital and no treatment is required in this case. However, if it is caused by induced abortion, poor postpartum recovery or inflammation, the related gynecological disease must be treated first.

Adjust your sleeping position

Lying on your back for a long time can easily cause a retroverted uterus, so you can sleep on your side or prone more often and avoid lying on your back for a long time.

Through exercise

Insist on lying on your side or on your back, and jump up two or three times a day, each time for half an hour. Especially during menstrual period, the uterus is softer, so you should also insist on lying prone once a day, which is more conducive to leaning forward.

Daily life

Women with retroverted uterus should keep their legs straight when sweeping the floor and only bend at the waist, or bend over while kneeling to mop the floor. These can promote anteversion of the uterus, and this should be maintained even after the uterus is in right position.

Calculate ovulation period

Since it is difficult to get pregnant with a retroverted uterus, it is even more necessary to calculate the ovulation period and grasp the time of sexual intercourse. Continuous observation can be carried out through ovulation test strips, measuring basal body temperature, or B-ultrasound and vaginal ultrasound.

Sexual positions and precautions

The best position for a retroverted uterus is to kneel on your back, which allows more sperm to gather near the cervix and help conception.

If the normal body position is adopted, women can lie prone after intercourse, put a pillow under their abdomen, and lie still for 30 minutes. Or during intercourse, place a small pillow under the woman's buttocks, do not use a pillow for the head, and lie in bed for 30 minutes after intercourse.

Pay special attention to the fact that women should not urinate or take a shower within half an hour of having sex. This will allow the cervix to fully contact with semen, thereby increasing the probability of sperm entering the uterus.

If the retroverted uterus is not particularly serious, you can have a normal pregnancy, so don’t worry too much. Just relax and happily welcome the arrival of your baby.
