What medicine is effective for fungal vaginitis?

Vaginal candidiasis is a common gynecological disease. This gynecological disease is mainly caused by women not paying attention to vaginal hygiene and unclean sexual life. There are many bacteria in the male penis, which can also cause symptoms of vaginitis in women. Therefore, if there are symptoms of vaginitis, antibiotics need to be taken for treatment. The drugs that can be taken include metronidazole and clotrimazole.

There are three common causes of vaginal candidiasis:

1. Bad living habits

Most women like to wear beautiful synthetic underwear, non-breathable tights, etc. in their daily lives, which can easily make the vulva damp, hot, and non-breathable, leading to inflammation. In addition, frequent flushing of the vagina will cause an imbalance in the acid-base balance of the vaginal environment, destroy the mechanism of mutual restraint of the vaginal flora, and also lead to bacterial growth and reproduction.

2. Bad eating habits

Traditional Chinese medicine believes that candidal vaginitis is caused by damp heat in the lower body, so spicy food is taboo and high-sugar foods should be eaten less. Diabetic patients are especially more likely to suffer from candidal vaginitis and should be especially careful.

3. Excessive use of antibiotics

While killing harmful bacteria, beneficial bacteria can also be killed, leading to an imbalance in the vaginal flora. The mutual inhibition between bacteria is changed, allowing fungi to multiply in large numbers. The use of immunosuppressants reduces the body's immunity, making it easy to cause fungal infection and induce vaginitis.

How to use medicine for candidal vaginitis and what medicine to use?

1. Topical vaginal medication

The most common drugs are metronidazole, clotrimazole, nystatin, amphotericin, etc. For example, Canesten can be inserted into the vagina 1-2 times, with an interval of 3-7 days. For drugs that are used once a day, the course of treatment is usually about 7 days. Of course, these are all antibiotics, most of which are bactericidal and anti-inflammatory, and can only temporarily relieve less serious fungal inflammations.

2. Oral medication

Drugs like Fuke Qianjin Tablets, Diflucan, Sporanox, etc. are only for women who suffer from gynecological inflammation for the first time, that is, simple fungal inflammation. But it has no real effect on female patients with recurrent attacks.

3. Take probiotics

More complicated is recurrent candidal vaginitis, which usually refers to candidal vaginitis that occurs several times a year. For this type of vaginitis, you must go to the hospital for examination first. Secondly, these antibiotics need to be combined with probiotics. First, use antibiotics for 5 days, and then use probiotics to treat bacteria and kill all vaginal bacteria. After the pathogenic bacteria are eliminated, start supplementing lactic acid bacteria to effectively prevent recurrence of inflammation.

Do these things well to prevent the recurrence of fungal vaginitis

1. Pay attention to personal hygiene. In daily life, try to choose pure cotton, loose underwear and change and wash them frequently. During sexual life, men should also pay attention to cleanliness and hygiene to prevent cross infection.

2. Husband and wife should be treated together. When a woman suffers from vaginitis, the man is also a carrier of the disease, so the effect will be better if the man cooperates during the treatment.

3. Improve your own immunity. The main reason why mold is easy to occur is that the body's immunity is reduced. Pay more attention to physical exercise in daily life and do not stay up late often.

4. Pay attention to dietary issues. Patients with candidal vaginitis should avoid eating spicy foods during treatment, otherwise the infection may recur easily.

5. Discover and treat promptly. Once the patient finds that he or she is ill, he or she must go for a check-up and take it seriously without delay.
