In recent years, the incidence of vulvar cancer has been increasing, and it is becoming younger and younger. Many young women have also suffered from vulvar cancer. Vulvar cancer is very harmful to women's health. Currently, the more common methods of treating vulvar cancer are surgery, radiotherapy or chemotherapy. If vulvar cancer is detected and treated early, the success rate of surgical treatment is still very high. What is the surgical process of vulvar cancer? What is vulvar cancer surgery like? 1. Incision Abdominal vulvar joint incision. From the side of the anterior superior iliac spine, through the upper edge of the pubic symphysis, the arc-shaped incision of the anterior superior iliac spine and the external genital fusiform incision on the opposite side converge at the midpoint. 2. Resection of abdominal lymphatic tissue Cut the abdominal skin along the incision line and lift the upper skin of the incision. The free abdominal skin flap is approximately 6-8 cm. The root of the flap should be beveled. From the root of the flap, abdominal fascial fat from the top of the buttocks to the buttocks and inguinal ligament are removed. 3. Resection of lymphatic tissue in the inguinal and femoral triangles. Separate the femoral flaps on both sides and remove the lymphatic fat tissue from the outside to the inside of the inguinal and femoral triangles. The great saphenous vein is divided or preserved. The round ligament is found 1/3 of the way up the inguinal ligament and just below the pubic tuberosity. The ligament is cut and sutured. What causes vulvar cancer? Cancer is a disease that depends on genes. There are many cancers whose corresponding genes have been found, but the cause of vulvar cancer is still not very clear. It is generally believed that the main factors causing vulvar cancer are genetic factors, HPV infection, endocrine disorders, trauma and inflammation. 1. Genetic factors 10%-30% of vulvar cancer patients have genetic factors. Vulvar cancer caused by genetics is usually atrophic type, and the targets are young girls under 15 years old. 2. HPV infection If the vulva is in an environment of HPV infection for a long time, such as vulvar condyloma acuminatum, chronic ulcers, etc., it may develop into vulvar cancer. 3. Endocrine disorders The human endocrine system secretes hormones, neuropeptides, amines and other substances. These secretion products act on target cells to regulate the body's growth, development and metabolism and maintain the stability of the internal environment. If there is a lesion in the endocrine glands, or if endocrine disorders are caused by enzyme and immune dysfunction, vulvar cancer may be caused. 4. Trauma Local neurovascular damage caused by perineal laceration during childbirth may develop into vulvar cancer. 5. Inflammation Inflammations such as Trichomonas vaginitis and cervical erosion can lead to increased vaginal secretions, long-term irritation of the vulva, and may cause vulvar cancer. |
