Where is the vulva?

Where is the vulva?

We all know that there are huge differences between the male and female reproductive systems. Many children don’t actually know that the vulva is the female external reproductive organ. This has a lot to do with the lack of sex education in our country. As children grow up, both parents and schools have the obligation to teach them some physiological knowledge, so that they can understand where the vulva is and how to treat any abnormalities.

Vulva: the external female genitalia, which refers to the exposed part of the female reproductive organs. Includes: mons pubis, labia majora, labia minora, clitoris, vaginal vestibule, Bartholin's glands, vestibular bulbs, urethral orifice, vaginal orifice and vaginal valves. Its upper boundary is the mons pubis, its lower boundary is the perineum, and its two sides are located on the inner sides of the thighs.

The external genitalia is also called the vulva. The vulva is located between the two thighs and can be seen by the eyes. The vulva includes the mons pubis, labia majora, labia minora, clitoris, Bartholin's glands, urethral opening, vaginal opening and hymen. Due to inherent defects in the embryo itself (such as chromosomal abnormalities) or changes in living conditions, the normal development of the reproductive organs may be affected, resulting in developmental stagnation or abnormalities. These phenomena are collectively referred to as vulvar developmental abnormalities, or commonly known as "external genital malformations." People with external genitalia deformities should pay more attention to using feminine care liquid with Ph4 weak acid formula for daily cleaning and maintenance, because external genitalia deformities are not conducive to the discharge of vaginal secretions, are not easy to keep clean, and are prone to various gynecological inflammations. The vagina also has a special smell, which is embarrassing.

Vaginitis Care

1. Wear loose, breathable cotton underwear, wash, change and dry it frequently to keep the vulva clean and dry.

2. Pay attention to the cleanliness of the vulva and prepare special washing utensils, ensuring "one person, one basin, one towel, and one water". First, place a small square towel in a basin of water and boil it for 15 minutes, then let it cool down before use; before washing the vulva, you should cut your nails short and clean your hands, and after washing, clean and dry the utensils.

3. Do not eat spicy or irritating foods, quit smoking and limit alcohol intake.

4. Pay attention to menstrual hygiene and use qualified sanitary napkins.

5. Clothes, bed sheets and quilts should be used and washed separately to prevent transmission within the family, especially to protect baby girls or girls from infection.

Due to the physiological fragility of the female reproductive tract, it is easy to be infected by bacteria, viruses, mycoplasma, etc. In addition to affecting the reproductive tract itself, it can also cause a series of complications. Repeated reproductive tract infections can lead to genital tumors, menstrual disorders, infertility, pregnancy diseases, obstetric diseases, etc. Reproductive tract infections first affect women themselves. Infections such as nonspecific vaginitis, Trichomonas vaginitis, candidal vaginitis, gonococcal vaginitis, non-gonococcal vaginitis, genital warts, Chlamydia mycoplasma, Toxoplasma, etc. all bring pain to women. In severe cases, they affect their work, study and normal life, affect family harmony, and affect the next generation.
