Leucorrhea clumping and sticky hair

Leucorrhea clumping and sticky hair

Many women may easily encounter abnormal leucorrhea in their lives. It is also common that leucorrhea clumps and often sticks to pubic hair. This condition may be a manifestation of gynecological inflammation, which may easily lead to odor or itching in the vagina. You need to pay more attention to personal private hygiene and cleaning.

What is the cause of leucorrhea clumping and sticking hair?

Leucorrhea is a sticky white liquid that flows out of the vagina of women. It is a mixture of secretions from the Bartholin's glands, cervical glands, endometrium, exudate from the vaginal mucosa, and desquamated vaginal epithelial cells. A small amount of white sticky secretion flowing out of the vagina without any odor is normal; if the mucus increases, flows continuously, or has a fishy smell, it is a pathological manifestation. Leucorrhea that sticks to the pubic hair may be flowing out of the vagina. Observe more

Normally, women's leucorrhea is colorless and transparent or white and paste-like, may have a slightly sour taste, and will not have any lumps. The most common cause of leucorrhea lumps is candidal vaginitis. When this type of vaginitis occurs, the leucorrhea appears to be lumpy and like tofu dregs and can adhere to the vaginal wall and be difficult to discharge. It can also cause severe perineal itching in women and can be transmitted to men through sexual intercourse. Once a woman experiences this situation, she needs to have a gynecological examination as soon as possible and have her leucorrhea tested routinely to find out whether she has vaginitis and the type of vaginitis. Depending on the type of vaginitis, it can be treated with oral or vaginal medication.

examine

To check whether the leucorrhea is normal, you need to observe the amount, color, texture and smell.

1. Gynecological examination

The examination is carried out from outside to inside. First, the vulva, urethra, paraurethral glands and Bartholin's glands are inspected visually, and then the vaginal wall and cervix are observed through a vaginal speculum. Check the appearance of vaginal discharge and cervical discharge.

2. Laboratory examination

(1) pH value: The normal pH is 3.8-4.4. The pH value of leucorrhea increases when suffering from trichomoniasis or bacterial vaginitis.

(2) Vaginal cleanliness: Grade III: A small amount of vaginal bacilli, a large number of pus cells and miscellaneous bacteria are seen under the microscope. Grade IV: No vaginal bacilli are seen under the microscope, and except for a small amount of epithelial cells, there are mainly pus cells and miscellaneous bacteria. Grades III to IV are abnormal leucorrhea, indicating vaginal inflammation. Grades Ⅰ to Ⅱ are normal.

(3) Fungi and Trichomonas: If Trichomonas or fungi are present, regardless of the quantity, they will be indicated by a “+”. The “+” symbol only indicates that the woman is infected with Trichomonas or fungi, and does not indicate the severity of the infection.
