Symptoms of kidney stones in women

Kidney stones mainly refer to the growth of stones in the patient's kidneys, which can have a serious impact on the normal functioning of the patient's kidneys. And whether it is men or women, there is a certain chance of suffering from kidney stones. Although women are less likely to suffer from kidney stones than men, female friends also need to understand the symptoms of kidney stones in order to prescribe the right treatment.

1. Five early symptoms of kidney stones in women:

1. Symptoms of infection:

Fear of cold, frequent and urgent urination, and low back pain.

2. Asymptomatic:

Urinalysis was negative and B-ultrasound examination showed no abnormalities.

3. Renal insufficiency:

Causes hydronephrosis and kidney stones.

4. History of stone removal:

Small stones are excreted in the urine, accompanied by symptoms of urethral stinging and lower abdominal pain and discomfort.

5. Renal colic:

There is obvious percussion pain in the kidney area, and during an attack, there will be cold sweat, bluish or pale face, low blood pressure, nausea and vomiting, etc.

2. What foods should not be eaten for kidney stones?

1. Don’t eat grapes

Grapes are rich in oxalic acid, which easily reacts chemically with calcium in the body to produce calcium oxalate. Calcium oxalate is one of the causes of kidney stones. Therefore, patients with kidney stones should stay away from grapes or wine in their lives, otherwise the number of kidney stones will increase and the condition will worsen.

2. You can’t eat oranges

Oranges, like grapes, are rich in oxalic acid. If you consume large amounts of oranges, it will cause calcium oxalate, uric acid and other substances in your body to form crystals, causing a vicious cycle of stones, aggravating the condition and hindering recovery.

3. Do not eat fruits with too much sugar

40% of kidney stone patients are caused by excessive intake of sugar. After taking too much sugar, it is easy to cause increased calcium ion concentration and oxalic acid. Calcium and oxalic acid are one of the main reasons for the formation of kidney stones, so avoid eating foods with high sugar content. Apples, figs, grapefruits, sugar cane, and pears are not allowed.

4. Animal offal and beer

Patients with kidney stones cannot eat animal offal because the protein contained in them can easily cause stones, thus aggravating the condition. At the same time, you cannot drink beer. Although beer can act as a diuretic and prevent the occurrence of urinary stones, the oxalic acid and calcium contained in the malt wort are needed during the brewing process, which can easily increase the uric acid in the human body.
