Bumps appear on the vulva, but they are not painful or itchy. At this time, female friends will not take it too seriously and always ignore these problems. This disease also has a certain incubation period. During this period, the patient will not feel that there are obvious changes in his condition. However, after the incubation period is over, the patient will often feel that the rash is occurring and there will be pain. The incubation period ranges from 3 weeks to 8 months, with an average of 3 months. Most of the patients are young women. The lesions are common in areas that are easily injured during sexual intercourse, such as near the navicular fossa, labia majora and minora, around the anus, vaginal vestibule, and urethral opening. The vagina and cervix may also be affected. The clinical symptoms are often not obvious, and some patients experience vulvar itching, burning pain, or pain after sexual intercourse. The typical signs are tiny scattered papillary warts at first, which are soft and have tiny finger-like protrusions on them, or small and pointed papules, which are slightly hard, isolated, scattered or in clusters, and pink or white. The lesions gradually increase in size and number, merging into a cockscomb or cauliflower shape, with keratinization or infection and ulceration at the top. Cervical lesions are mostly flat and difficult to detect with the naked eye, and often require the assistance of a colposcopy and acetic acid test. Before medication, apply 1% tetracaine locally for surface anesthesia to relieve pain. ① Apply 33%~50% trichloroacetic acid externally once a week. Generally, the lesions will disappear after 1-3 times. Trichloroacetic acid has low toxicity, does not damage the surrounding normal skin, and does not form scars after the lesions are repaired. It can be used for vaginal and cervical lesions. ② Apply 1% phthalamide ointment 3-5 times a day. It is expected to be cured in 4-6 weeks. It has little irritation and is widely used. ③Apply 10%-25% podophyllum resin to the lesions. This drug is cytotoxic, can inhibit the M phase of cell division, and is highly irritating. Be careful not to apply it to normal skin. It cannot be used for vaginal and cervical lesions. Wash it off 2-4 hours after application. Apply once a week and can be used continuously for 3-4 times. ④For external use, 5% fluorouracil ointment, once a day. One course of treatment is 10 to 14 days. Generally, 1 to 2 courses of treatment are required. Avoid bad habits such as unclean sexual intercourse and multiple sexual partners. 1. Resolutely put an end to promiscuous sex: 60% of patients with genital warts are infected through sexual contact. If one person in a family contracts a disease from society, he or she may infect the spouse through sexual intercourse, and may also pass it on to other family members through close contact. This not only causes physical pain, but also causes family discord and mental stress. Therefore, improving sexual morality and avoiding extramarital sex are important aspects of preventing the occurrence of genital warts. |
