Under the stimulation of normal female hormones, women have ovulation and menstruation every month. During the ovulation period, the female lower body will secrete some white secretions, which is leucorrhea. Leucorrhea can also reflect the health of a woman's body to a certain extent. Normal leucorrhea is a bit like egg white and has no odor. However, some women find that their leucorrhea is thick and a bit like snot. What is the reason for this? 1. To evaluate whether leucorrhea is normal, you need to observe the quantity, color, texture, and smell. Normal leucorrhea should be milky white or colorless and transparent, with a slightly fishy smell or no smell; its secretion amount and texture are affected by the levels of estrogen and progesterone in the body, and vary periodically with the menstrual cycle, with varying amounts, textures and thicknesses. Generally, the amount of vaginal discharge decreases from the menstrual period to before ovulation. As the estrogen level in the body increases, the epithelial cells of the cervical glands proliferate, the secretion of cervical mucus increases, and the sodium chloride content in the mucus increases, which can absorb more water, causing the amount of vaginal discharge to increase during ovulation. The discharge is thin, clear, and looks like egg white, and can be stretched into long threads. 2. After ovulation, the estrogen level gradually decreases, the progesterone level increases, the secretion of cervical mucus is inhibited, and the sodium chloride content in the mucus also decreases, making the leucorrhea thick, milky white, less ductile, and easy to break when drawn. 3. In this case, you may have vaginitis. It is recommended that you take ofloxacin and metronidazole capsules orally, use potassium permanganate solution to clean the local area, and then use metronidazole effervescent tablets for vaginal treatment. Generally, one course of treatment is 7 to 10 days, and 2 to 3 courses of treatment should be used in succession. Pay attention to personal hygiene during medication. 4. Leucorrhea. Normal leucorrhea is white, paste-like or egg white-like in color, highly viscous, without any fishy smell, and in small amount. It will change with the menstrual cycle. If there is a disease in the reproductive tract, the amount, properties and odor of secretions will change. Suggestion: Pay attention to hygiene, wash the vulva with warm water every day, change underwear frequently, and go to the hospital for examination in time if you feel uncomfortable |
