Is the period right after the menstrual period a safe period?

Women have menstruation every month. The safe period and ovulation period can be calculated based on the time of menstruation. Women during menstruation should pay attention to keeping their abdomen warm, not eating cold food, not drinking alcohol, and not doing strenuous exercise. Some female friends think that the safe period is when their menstruation just ends. Many female friends don’t know how to calculate the safe period, so is the period just after the menstrual period a safe period? Let’s take a look at it next.

1. Is the period right after the menstrual period a safe period?

The period immediately after menstruation is not necessarily the safe period. It depends on each person's menstrual cycle and the length of the period.

2. How to calculate the safe period for women?

A woman's menstrual cycle has an ovulation period and a non-ovulation period. The non-ovulation period is often called the safe period. If you know your ovulation period, the rest of the time is the safe period.

The ovulation period is calculated fourteen days before the next menstrual period, which is about four to five days. After subtracting this time, the remaining time is the female's safe period. In other words, the general safe period is about eight to ten days before or after menstruation, which is relatively safe.

But women's safe period and ovulation period are also controlled by their brain. When there are changes in the environment, high work pressure, emotional tension, etc., it will affect ovulation and the calculation of the safe period.

3. Observation Method

1. Female vaginal secretions change regularly during different periods of the menstrual cycle. During ovulation, the amount of mucus increases, the vagina feels damp, the mucus becomes clear, and the mucus can be stretched into threads, up to 10 cm long. The last day this mucus lasts is generally the ovulation period. No sexual intercourse during the first 3-4 days and the last 5-7 days.

2. Safe period sexual intercourse is suitable for people with normal menstrual cycles, couples who often live together, and who can master and strictly abide by the safe period. Couples who do not live together often, women who have given birth or miscarriage, women whose mental state, living environment and health conditions have changed, women who cannot master the safe period, and newlyweds who are emotionally excited and have strong sexual desire are not suitable for safe contraception.
