What to do when a girl has a headache

Headache is not a strange symptom for modern people, especially young men and women with unhealthy living habits. For women whose endocrine system is already unbalanced, many simple and inconspicuous things can cause headaches. Take staying up late as an example. If a woman’s sleep time is not guaranteed, she will have severe headaches the next day. When girls experience this kind of headache caused by fatigue from life, they can only relieve it by applying cold or hot compresses or resting.

Get enough sleep. Many girls suffer from migraines due to staying up late or getting too little sleep. It is best to lie flat when sleeping, which is beneficial to blood circulation in the head.

Apply a hot or cold towel. When a headache occurs, applying a hot towel can promote blood circulation. Some people experience migraine with swelling and pain, so they can apply a cold towel. Hot towels work for some people, while cold towels work for others. It depends on which one you think is more effective.

Massage your head or eye sockets. When a headache occurs, if it hurts in the temples, you can feel the area where the pain is more intense and gently massage it. If it hurts in the back, you can massage the ears. If it hurts on both sides and is more towards the back, you can massage the junction of the head and neck. Another situation is migraine caused by rhinitis or sinusitis. For this type of headache, you can massage the eye socket area because there is a tendon running from the nose to the eye socket to the head.

Make a tea pillow. Tea pillows not only help you sleep and improve your sleep quality, but they are also breathable, allowing the cerebral cortex to breathe. It is not recommended to use soft cotton pillows, as pillows made of that material are a bit non-breathable and not conducive to the brain's breathing. Tea leaves have dehumidifying properties and can dehumidify when you sweat, reducing the breeding of mites. However, cotton pillows have more mites because they absorb sweat.

Comb your hair. When you have a headache, try not to tie your hair up, and comb it more often. This is the same principle as massage, which mainly benefits blood circulation.

If you wash your hair before going to bed at night, be sure to blow dry it or hang it dry. Do not sleep with wet hair.

If the condition is serious, you can go to a Chinese medicine hospital for acupuncture to treat migraine. I think acupuncture is a good choice. It is not only beneficial to blood circulation, but also helps sleep. Moreover, acupuncture is targeted at acupoints. As the saying goes, if the acupoints are unblocked, there will be no pain. Therefore, acupuncture is of great help in the treatment of migraine.
