Causes of urethral bleeding in women

Female urethral bleeding may be caused by urinary tract infection or kidney infection, or it may be caused by urethral cancer, nephritis, urethral injury, etc. These symptoms are relatively serious. I hope that female friends who encounter symptoms of urethral bleeding should go to the hospital for treatment in time, mainly to check the functions of organs such as the kidneys and bladder, and cooperate with the doctor's treatment in time.

Because the female urethra and vagina are adjacent to each other, many women will mistake urethral bleeding for vaginal bleeding when there is urethral bleeding. This is a sign that women are not careful enough. However, if urethral bleeding is identified, women will become very nervous, because the biggest worry is that urethral bleeding may be urethral cancer.

Urethra bleeding in women may be a symptom of urethral cancer. However, urethral bleeding in women is not just a possible cause of urethral cancer.

Some diseases of the female urinary system can easily cause urethral bleeding. After urine is produced in the kidneys, it needs to pass through multiple organs to be excreted from the body, including the renal pelvis, ureters, and bladder, and finally reach the urethra to be excreted from the body. Therefore, bleeding in any of these organs will cause urethral bleeding. Many diseases, such as nephritis, cystitis, kidney stones, urethral injury, etc., can cause urethral bleeding in women. Women with urethral bleeding must drink plenty of water to increase urine volume to prevent blood from forming blood clots and blocking the urethra. Then they should arrange time as soon as possible to go to the hospital for a thorough examination to find out the specific cause of the bleeding. Female urethral bleeding must be taken seriously because it may be a sign of some serious illness.

Causes of urethral bleeding

Urethral bleeding is not a symptom of a single disease, it is usually accompanied by other diseases, such as orchitis, prostatitis, and seminal vesiculitis. Therefore, in order to effectively treat urethral bleeding, it is necessary to find out the cause and carry out targeted treatment.

In the treatment of male urethral bleeding, if the drug is not selected properly, the gonococcus may become resistant to it; reinfection may occur, and the sexual partner may not be treated; the patient may not take the drug as prescribed by the doctor, and drinking alcohol and spicy food may affect the efficacy; only drugs against one pathogen are given, and mixed infections are ignored, for example, combined infection with Chlamydia trachomatis or mycoplasma is not treated.

Male urethral bleeding caused by Trichomonas; nonspecific urethritis caused by certain bacterial infections; prostatitis caused by decreased local resistance; inflammatory damage to the urethral mucosa such as edema and hyperplasia that has not yet recovered, or local nerve traction, can cause male urethral bleeding.

Choose sensitive antibiotics to treat male urethral bleeding, and it is best to do bacterial culture first. When urination discomfort occurs and a urinary tract infection is suspected, a urine sample should be retained (for bacterial culture) before taking medication. If you take medication without authorization and then retain the urine sample, the bacteria will be suppressed and difficult to grow, which can easily cause a "false negative".
