Four caesarean sections

Four caesarean sections

Caesarean section is a popular modern method of delivery. It greatly reduces the risk of childbirth for women and improves the survival rate of the fetus. In addition, the woman's body recovers quickly after caesarean section, with less damage to the reproductive tract, thus maintaining the integrity of the reproductive system. However, too many caesarean sections may also have certain impacts on health. For example, is it okay to have four caesarean sections?

There is no definitive answer as to how many caesarean sections a woman can have in her lifetime, but the more times she has them, the thinner the uterus and the scar. With subsequent pregnancies, the uterus continues to grow and the uterine wall becomes thinner due to the development of the fetus. In particular, the incision at the caesarean section is connective tissue and lacks elasticity. The scar can easily rupture in the late pregnancy or during delivery, causing massive abdominal bleeding and even life-threatening.

Generally, the uterus can withstand up to three cesarean sections. If you become pregnant again, the risk of uterine rupture will increase. As the number of pregnancies increases, the elasticity of the uterus becomes relatively smaller, the number of surgeries increases, and the number of scars on the uterus increases. These are all risk factors for uterine rupture and heavy bleeding.

The success rate of four caesarean sections is extremely low. A person can undergo a maximum of three caesarean sections in their lifetime. There is basically no risk of pregnancy after four times, but the risk factor is very high and will affect both the mother and the fetus. Because of the frequent cesarean sections, the tissue at the incision of the scarred uterus will be more fragile and weaker than that of those without a history of cesarean sections. If the number of pregnancies increases, serious complications such as uterine rupture may occur in the late pregnancy, which is very dangerous. Multiple cesarean sections are harmful to the mother. Generally, the number of cesarean sections should not exceed 3 times. Caesarean section is mainly performed on mothers and fetuses with abnormal conditions. Although the safety factor of Caesarean section is getting higher and higher with the development of medical science, the mortality rate of mothers and fetuses is still very high compared with natural delivery.

After four cesarean sections, if you get pregnant again, the risks are very high. First, there is the possibility of scar pregnancy, and second, there is the possibility of uterine rupture, so the risks are very high. If it has been more than a year since your last pregnancy, you can get pregnant again. Moreover, if the fetus does not implant in the original uterine scar, there will not be any big problem. We must do a good job of inspection.
