Bleeding during 4 months of pregnancy

Bleeding during 4 months of pregnancy

The physical health problems encountered by women during pregnancy cannot be ignored, because any symptoms may affect the development of the fetus and cause some adverse consequences. Among them, the symptoms of bleeding during pregnancy are more serious and more destructive to women's bodies. At the same time, they will hinder the growth of the fetus and cause serious consequences. Let’s take a look at what causes bleeding in the 4th month of pregnancy? I hope you all understand.

1. Physiological bleeding

After conception, during the implantation and development of the gestational sac, the small blood vessels of the uterine decidua may be damaged. This is a physiological bleeding. It is often self-limited and will stop automatically after a period of time. During this period, pay attention to nutritional supplements and rest in bed more.

2. Threatened abortion

Threatened abortion refers to a disease in which a small amount of vaginal bleeding occurs in early pregnancy, which comes and goes, accompanied by mild lower abdominal pain and back pain. It may result in miscarriage, or it may continue the pregnancy after appropriate treatment. It is mainly due to the weak constitution of pregnant women, or fatigue, trauma, including improper vaginal examination and sexual intercourse.

There are many causes of miscarriage, including embryonic reasons, natural laws, survival of the fittest, natural arrest during development, or other reasons such as insufficient umbilical cord oxygen supply, amniotic fluid disease, placental virus infection, and certain gynecological inflammations, which can also cause miscarriage. Malnutrition among pregnant women is also one of the causes of miscarriage. The mother's mood swings or poor physical condition may also lead to threatened miscarriage, and external force injury may also cause threatened miscarriage.

Threatened abortion is very common, but actual miscarriage only occurs in 10-15% of cases. Therefore, some fetuses can be preserved, while others are not.

3. Miscarriage is inevitable

Inevitable miscarriage means miscarriage is inevitable, usually developed from threatened miscarriage, but with more vaginal bleeding, more severe paroxysmal abdominal pain, or vaginal discharge (rupture of membranes). In this case please seek medical attention immediately.

4. Ectopic pregnancy

When the gestational sac does not implant in the uterus, but incorrectly implants outside the uterus, when it develops to a certain extent, the wall of the fallopian tube will rupture, leading to bleeding. This type of bleeding remains in the abdominal cavity, and the amount of bleeding through the vagina may not be much, but the consequences are often serious, often resulting in syncope, shock, etc. If not treated in time, it may cause the patient's death.
