Is it normal to have yellow discharge after cervical surgery?

The cervix is a special part of the uterus. It has a very important impact on female fertility. Cervical diseases account for the majority of gynecological diseases, causing great damage to the health of many women and causing them to suffer for a long time. There are many types of cervical diseases, and severe ones require surgery for treatment. However, is it normal for some women to have yellow discharge after cervical surgery? I hope women can understand this.

About two weeks after cervical erosion surgery, fluid will be discharged from the vagina, which is caused by increased secretions. This is a normal phenomenon and you don't need to worry too much. You should pay attention to the cleanliness of your vagina and change your underwear frequently. Generally, it can be gradually reduced in about 1 month, which is a normal phenomenon. At this time, the patient should keep the vulva clean and wash it frequently, but do not use vaginal suppositories to do vaginal washing on their own. Wash the underwear frequently and use sanitary pads when necessary.

Postoperative care:

1. Care should be taken to keep the vulva clean and it is strictly forbidden to flush the inside of the vagina.

2. After the operation, you should strictly follow the doctor's instructions to take the medicine.

3. In the first two weeks, there may be increased vaginal discharge, discharge, yellow leucorrhea, purulent leucorrhea, and even bloody discharge. Generally, it will gradually decrease in about a month. This is a normal phenomenon. There is no need to worry if there is no odor, fever, or excessive bleeding.

4. Bicycling is prohibited within half a month, and bathing and sexual intercourse are strictly prohibited within 2 months.

5. You must go to the hospital for a follow-up examination 2 months after the operation. If vaginal bleeding after treatment exceeds the amount of menstruation, go to the hospital for examination.

Standard cure: The scab on the cervix falls off, and new cervical mucosal tissue grows out, which is light red and has a smooth surface;

Markedly effective: clinical symptoms and signs basically disappear, the erosion surface shrinks by more than 50% or moderate erosion turns to mild erosion, and severe erosion turns to moderate erosion;

6. Take timely and effective contraceptive measures to reduce the incidence of induced abortion and the chance of artificial trauma and bacterial infection.

7. For all those with 1-3 cervical erosions that are not cured in one go, after a follow-up examination 2 months later and a second microwave treatment, and another follow-up examination 1 month later, they can basically be cured.
