Vaginal vestibule itching

Vaginal vestibule itching in women is something that is embarrassing to talk about. Even in today's open knowledge world, everyone knows that if they have any condition, they should tell their doctor in time, but they are still a little shy. It is precisely because of this that many women do not seek medical attention in time when they first experience vaginal vestibule itching, but wait until the condition worsens before going to the hospital to see a doctor. What is vaginal vestibule itching?

The vaginal vestibule is the fissure between the left and right labia minora, which is narrow at the front and back ends and wide in the middle. The front end is sharp and reaches the clitoris, the back end is blunt and round, and the posterior boundary is the frenulum of the labia. There is a vaginal opening in the center of the vaginal vestibule, and there is a hymen or hymen marks around the vaginal opening. The external urethral opening is small, located in front of the vaginal opening, posterior and inferior to the clitoris, about 2.5 cm away from the clitoral glans. It is generally a short sagittal fissure with nipple-like raised edges. There is often a small opening on the posterolateral side of the external urethral orifice, which is the orifice of the paraurethral gland duct. In addition, there is an opening of the Bartholin's gland excretory duct on each side of the posterior and lateral side of the vaginal opening.

Itching in the vestibule of the vagina is collectively referred to as vulvar pruritus. Vulvar pruritus may be a symptom caused by not paying attention to personal hygiene or by vulvar lesions or systemic diseases. It can happen to women of any age. Common causes include local factors: inflammatory irritation, urinary fistula, urinary incontinence, urethral infection secretions, urine irritation, senile vaginitis, pelvic genital tumor secretion irritation, rectovaginal fistula, anal fistula, stool contamination, vulvar skin diseases, etc. There are also local itching symptoms caused by systemic diseases, such as diabetes mellitus, vitamin deficiency, icteric hepatitis, patient allergic reactions such as drug allergy, urticaria, and topical use of contraceptive tools may cause vulvar itching. At the same time, a small number of neurological patients experience vulvar itching with no obvious cause.

However, clinically, most women's vulvar itching is caused by not paying attention to personal hygiene. If there is no problem, using medication and washes will destroy the self-cleaning function of the vagina. Although there are many kinds of bacteria in the normal vagina, it does not cause disease because of the ecological balance formed between the vagina and these bacteria. Lactobacillus, estrogen and vaginal pH play an important role in maintaining the ecological balance of the vagina. Under physiological conditions, estrogen causes the vaginal epithelium to proliferate and thicken, and increases the intracellular glycogen content. Vaginal epithelial cells break down glycogen into monosaccharides, and vaginal lactobacilli convert monosaccharides into lactic acid, maintaining a normal acidic environment in the vagina (ph ≤ 4.5, mostly 3.8 ~ 4.4), inhibiting the growth of other pathogens, which is called the vaginal self-cleaning effect. In normal vaginal flora, antimicrobial factors can inhibit or kill other bacteria. Once the ecological balance of the vagina is broken or exogenous pathogens invade, inflammation may occur. Frequent use of pharmaceutical-grade cleansing liquids, disinfected sanitary pads, etc. can easily destroy the weakly acidic environment of the vagina. The weakly acidic environment of the vagina can maintain the self-cleaning function of the vagina. The Ph4 weak acid formula of female care liquid is more suitable for daily cleaning and maintenance.

1. Diet therapy - use 120 grams of ginger, wash and crush it with the skin, 90 grams of moxa leaves (200-250 grams for fresh ones), add 1500 milliliters of water, boil it in a pot for 20 minutes, remove the residue, pour the medicine into a basin, the patient sits on the basin and let the steam fumigate the genitals first, wait until the water temperature is suitable, wash for 10-15 minutes, 1-2 times a day, and wash for 3 days in a row to heal.

During the treatment period and within half a month after recovery, avoid spicy, fried food, drinking alcohol and sexual intercourse.

2. (Including men’s vulva itching) Add 50 grams of scallion roots and 50 peppercorns to 500 ml of water and bring to a boil. Use this to wash the vulva twice a day. Wash for 3 consecutive days to cure the condition.

3. Western medicine - you can rinse with vaginal cleaning solution ("Fuyinjie" is not as good as "Fuyanjie"), and then put on gynecological suppositories
