What to do if your vulva becomes itchy after pregnancy

Most women will develop gynecological diseases due to pregnancy. During pregnancy, the secretions from a woman's lower body will naturally increase, and the menstruation will stop during the pregnancy period. This will cause the female hormone in the female body to be excessive, but it cannot be discharged, which will cause various gynecological diseases. Vulvar itching is a common one. So what should I do if the vulvar itching occurs after pregnancy?

If you have vulvar itching during pregnancy, you should first find out what causes the itching. The most common cause of candidiasis is after pregnancy, due to the increase of glycogen in the vagina. Some pregnant mothers suffer from diabetes, which is also prone to candidiasis. Therefore, the first thing to do is to do a routine examination of leucorrhea. If candidal vaginitis is suspected, treatment for the candidal infection must be carried out. For example, nystatin tablets are commonly used, and nifuratel nystatin capsules can also be used. These are drugs for the treatment of candidal vaginitis that pregnant women can use safely.

In addition, some pregnant women also have mycoplasma, chlamydia and gonococcal infections, which can also cause vulvar itching, so relevant examinations should be done and treatment should be carried out based on bacterial and drug culture when necessary. Some pregnant mothers have too much secretion, which causes the vulva to be very moist and easily causes itching, so they should wash the vulva and change underwear frequently. Pregnant women may also suffer from bacterial vaginosis, which not only causes vulvar itching, but is also accompanied by increased vaginal discharge and an odor to the vaginal discharge. At this time, some examinations are also needed, and treatment with nitrofuratel and nystatin capsules is also required. In any case, if you experience symptoms of vulvar itching, you should go to the hospital to test your leucorrhea and receive correct guidance and treatment.

After pregnancy, the acid-base imbalance in the vagina is prone to inflammation. It is not advisable to take medication in the first three months. Just wash with salt water. In the fourth month, you can do a routine leucorrhea test to see what kind of inflammation it is. Then take corresponding measures. Generally, the leucorrhea of candidal vaginitis is bean curd-like, that of trichomonas is grayish white foamy, and the leucorrhea of bacterial vaginitis increases and has a fishy odor.
