Bleeding at 9 weeks of pregnancy

Bleeding at 9 weeks of pregnancy

The pregnancy has not passed the dangerous period around the ninth week, but at this time there is still no guarantee to avoid threatened abortion. Generally, when the pregnancy reaches the ninth week, the mother's pregnancy reaction is still relatively obvious, and severe cases may be accompanied by vaginal bleeding, which may be a precursor to miscarriage. Developmental or defective, as well as physical problems, need to go to the hospital for examination as soon as possible.

What is the reason for bleeding at 9 weeks of pregnancy: Vaginal bleeding in pregnant women at 9 weeks of pregnancy may be a sign of miscarriage. It may be caused by defects in the embryo itself, which is eliminated after development to a certain extent. It may also be caused by external stimulation, such as sexual intercourse, lifting heavy objects, etc. Symptoms of miscarriage: a small amount of vaginal bleeding, sometimes mild lower abdominal pain, a feeling of falling when the fetus moves, mild back pain and abdominal distension. Depending on the amount of bleeding and how long it has been accumulating in the vagina, the color may be bright red, pink, or dark brown.

Treatment: Pregnant women should first go to the hospital for an ultrasound examination, and then cooperate with the doctor for treatment. The doctor may recommend taking progesterone to stop bleeding and preserve the fetus. At the same time, pregnant women should rest in bed. 2 What causes bleeding in the 9th week of pregnancy: Ectopic pregnancy. If a pregnant woman in the 9th week of pregnancy has not been confirmed to have a normal pregnancy before, vaginal bleeding at this time may be caused by ectopic pregnancy. This is because the fertilized egg implants in the fallopian tube, ovary, pelvic cavity or other parts outside the uterine cavity. This pregnancy cannot fully develop and often ends in miscarriage, causing vaginal bleeding.

Symptoms: Early ectopic pregnancy may not have symptoms. Judging from the amount of bleeding, there is no way to distinguish ectopic pregnancy from threatened bleeding. If the gestational sac does not rupture, there will be no pain. Once it ruptures, the pain will be unbearable and there will be heavy bleeding.

Treatment: Pregnant women should first go to the hospital to test the hCG value and do a B-ultrasound examination to accurately determine whether it is an ectopic pregnancy. If it is an ectopic pregnancy, a uterine curettage operation should be performed. Pregnant women with a history of ectopic pregnancy, abnormal uterine structure, intrauterine contraceptive device, or who have undergone fallopian tube surgery are all considered to be at high risk of ectopic pregnancy.

3 What is the reason for bleeding at 9 weeks of pregnancy: Hydatidiform mole Bleeding in a pregnant woman at 9 weeks of pregnancy may also be hydatidiform mole, which is caused by the degeneration and abnormal proliferation of the villous tissue that makes up the placenta, forming blisters of varying sizes like a bunch of grapes. There is often heavy intermittent vaginal bleeding, and the diagnosis can be confirmed by the discharge of white, transparent, grape-like blisters.

Women who are younger than 20 years old or older than 40 years old, have a history of miscarriage or hydatidiform mole, or smoke are at high risk of hydatidiform mole.

Symptoms: There will be continuous vaginal bleeding, severe early pregnancy reactions, extremely high HCG levels, and the size of the uterus is larger than that of a normal pregnancy. Treatment: If a pregnant woman goes to the hospital for a check-up and is confirmed to have a hydatidiform mole, she must undergo an abortion and scrape out the chorionic tissue in the uterus. In addition, the hCG index in the body must be tracked for six months to see if it is normal.
