Is the follicle an egg?

Ovarian follicles are a substance produced inside the ovaries of every normal woman, and follicles are produced inside the ovaries of normal women every month. And only when follicles are produced inside a woman's ovaries will eggs be secreted, allowing women to become pregnant. Women who are preparing for pregnancy should have some understanding of the follicles and eggs produced in their bodies. So are follicles and eggs the same substance?

Is the follicle an egg?

The presence of follicles does not necessarily mean pregnancy. Conception can only occur if follicles exist and the follicles divide into mature eggs. The prerequisite is that the female fallopian tubes are unobstructed and the male semen examination is normal. If there are follicles but they have not divided, it is recommended that you take the correct medication under the guidance of a doctor, and you will definitely get pregnant. If the uterus is retroverted, you can consult your doctor about changing the direction and position of sexual intercourse.

It can be said that dozens of follicles develop at the same time every month, but generally only one can mature. The egg can only be released after the mature follicle ovulates, that is, ovulation can only occur after the follicle membrane ruptures.

Symptoms of ovulation, such as stringy leucorrhea, accompanied by lower back pain and fatigue, or ovulation bleeding, vary from person to person. The most accurate method is to monitor the growth, development and discharge of follicles through B-ultrasound starting from the 10th day of menstruation. Under normal circumstances, after the egg is released, it is received by the fimbria of the fallopian tube and enters the fallopian tube to wait for fertilization. The fertilization time is about 1-2 days. In your case, it is more likely that the egg has been released.

The follicles are oval and the eggs discharged are also very good. Normal mature follicles are round or oval, with a diameter of 15-30mm (21.2+-0.53mm), clear boundaries and thin walls.

How to have healthy eggs

1. Age

The best childbearing age for women is 23 to 30 years old, but women's fertility is more easily affected by age than men. There was an in vitro fertilization experiment: eggs from women over 40 years old and sperm from young men were the first group, and sperm from women under 30 years old and sperm from men over 50 years old were the second group. The results showed that the success rate of the second group was significantly higher than that of the first group. This shows that age has an important impact on egg quality (the ability of eggs to conceive).

2. Maintain good health

The healthier a woman is, the lower the chance of chromosomal mutations in her eggs. Not only will she be able to get pregnant more easily, but the miscarriage rate after pregnancy will also be lower. Of course, the worse her health is, the higher the chance of chromosomal mutations in her eggs, and the worse the quality, the greater the probability of infertility and miscarriage. Therefore, it is necessary to maintain good health, and if a disease occurs, treatment should be sought as soon as possible.

3. Proper exercise

Appropriate physical exercise can help women improve their physical fitness and ensure the quality of eggs. Therefore, any woman who is planning to get pregnant should engage in regular exercise for a period of time before becoming pregnant. For example, three months before planning pregnancy, you can engage in appropriate and reasonable exercise or related physical training, such as jogging, soft gymnastics, swimming, Tai Chi, etc., to improve your physical fitness and lay a solid foundation for pregnancy.
