How to regulate the thick endometrium

Endometrial hyperplasia is a multifunctional uterine wall bleeding that can occur at any age, such as puberty, menopause, and the middle and late stages of menstruation, and the reproductive period. If the disease is not treated in time, it will affect women's health. How to treat endometrial thickening?

How to treat endometrial thickening

Endometrial thickening is also known as uterine wall hyperplasia, which refers to a disease in which the uterine wall is perforated due to endometrial inflammation, endocrine disorders, or the stimulation of some drugs. Endometrial thickening is common in adolescent or menopausal women with irregular menstruation and is a cross-cutting endocrine disease.

Western medicine mainly uses ovulation-inducing drugs or hormones, or surgical treatments such as curettage or hysterectomy. Medical treatment is often unable to eradicate the disease, so it is difficult to achieve the goal of recovery. Although medication to simply promote ovulation or inhibit endometrial hyperplasia caused by estrogen can improve symptoms, it cannot eliminate the root cause; surgical curettage can scrape off the thickened endometrium, but it cannot eliminate the disease, and although hysterectomy can completely cure endometrial hyperplasia, it is very harmful to the patient, and it is not easy to get pregnant after the operation.

From the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine, endometrial thickening is not a disease term in traditional Chinese medicine, but the clinical symptom of endometrial thickening is long-term irregular vaginal bleeding. It belongs to the category of "menstrual bleeding" in traditional Chinese medicine. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that the main cause of the disease is damp heat in the lower abdomen, stagnation of blood, obstruction of the belt meridian, and outflow of blood away from the meridians. Therefore, the treatment should focus on promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis. The methods of promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis, clearing away heat and removing fire, and strengthening the spleen and removing dampness in the secret recipe can cure the disease of endometrial hyperplasia very well.

Common Problems with Endometrial Thickening

The uterine wall is the mucous membrane that covers the uterus and is one of the most differentiated tissues in the body. The uterine wall also undergoes regular changes during the menstrual cycle. The normal thickness of the uterine wall is 0.2-1.0 cm. During menstruation, the functional layer of the uterine wall falls off, leaving only the dermis. The proliferative phase is from the 6th to the 14th day of the menstrual period when the uterine membrane thickness reaches 1-3mm. The metabolism period is from the 15th to the 28th day of the menstrual period, and the endometrium thickness reaches 5-7mm. Endometrial thickening means that the uterine wall exceeds this range. If the uterine wall is thick, it is easy to have very painful menstruation, and it is not easy for the sperm and egg to combine and implant the embryo.

1. Maintain a happy spirit, avoid mental stimulation and mood swings. Some people experience lower abdominal distension, back pain, breast pain, mild diarrhea, fatigue, sleepiness, bad temper, anger or depression during menstruation. These are all normal and there is no need to worry too much.

2. Pay attention to hygiene and prevent infection. Pay attention to the hygiene and cleanliness of the reproductive organs. Keep warm during menstruation and avoid severe cold stimulation. Prevent overwork. If you have heavy menstrual flow, you should avoid eating brown sugar.

3. Underwear should be soft, pure cotton, with good ventilation and air permeability. It should be washed and changed frequently. Underwear that is changed frequently should be placed in the sun to dry.
