Do you feel hot during early pregnancy?

Women who are preparing for pregnancy should be aware of the various abnormal conditions that may occur in pregnant women, otherwise the abnormal conditions that occur in the body during pregnancy will be magnified by themselves. Women in the early stages of pregnancy are generally very careful about every aspect of their lives, and they are not particularly aware of any abnormalities in their bodies, so are women in the early stages of pregnancy afraid of heat?

Do you feel hot during early pregnancy?

The body temperature of pregnant women is slightly higher than that of ordinary people, so it is normal to be afraid of heat. Generally speaking, the normal human body temperature is 36-37℃ (measured under the armpit). The body temperature of pregnant women will rise in the early stages of pregnancy, but after the second trimester (13 weeks of pregnancy), the body temperature will return to its original normal state. Let’s take a closer look below!

A woman's body temperature has been changing quietly since conception. It is normal for body temperature to rise between 36.9℃-37.2℃, which is why many expectant mothers are very afraid of heat.

This is because: in the early stages of pregnancy, the corpus luteum forms in the ovaries. The secretion of progesterone by the corpus luteum will cause the body temperature to rise. The body temperature regulation center is extremely sensitive to the effects of progesterone (also known as progesterone). A certain amount of progesterone (12,8nmol/L) can cause the body temperature to rise.

In general, the body temperature of pregnant women is 0.3~0.5℃ higher than that of the general population, and the temperature is also greatly related to the test time, body part and personal physical factors. For example, the armpit temperature is 0.3~0.6℃ lower than the oral temperature, and the rectal temperature (rectal temperature) is 0.3~0.5℃ higher than the oral temperature. The body temperature of pregnant women will also change during the day. The temperature is lowest during sleep in the early morning, and the temperature rises sharply between 7 and 9 in the morning, and is highest between 17 and 19. However, the difference between the lowest and highest temperature values of the day is basically between 1℃.

In the early stages of pregnancy, the pregnant woman's body temperature is between 36.9℃-37.2℃. If this high temperature period lasts for more than 21 days and there are no other abnormal reactions, no menstruation, and even early pregnancy reactions, it can generally be considered a sign of pregnancy. If the body temperature fluctuates, it should be taken seriously, especially for patients with habitual miscarriage, who should take timely measures.

After a woman becomes pregnant, her luteinizing hormone rises. Generally, the basal body temperature of women in the follicular phase is 36.5°C, and the body temperature will rise by more than 0.5°C during the luteal phase. It is a normal physiological phenomenon for pregnant women to have an increased body temperature in the early stages of pregnancy. Pregnant women can pay attention to changes in their body temperature and use this to preliminarily infer that they are pregnant. If they find abnormal changes in body temperature, they need to go to the hospital for examination in time to rule out potential diseases.
