Bladder pressure pain in late pregnancy

Bladder pressure pain in late pregnancy

When a woman becomes pregnant, her body will undergo many changes, especially in the late stages of pregnancy when these changes will be more obvious, because at this time the fetus has grown larger and will have some impact on the pregnant woman's entire body. Many pregnant women will feel obvious bladder pain in the late pregnancy. This is a relatively normal phenomenon. Pregnant women just need to pay attention to observe the changes in the fetus.

Is it normal to feel bladder pain during late pregnancy?

Bladder pain in late pregnancy may be caused by the fetus pressing on the bladder. In the late pregnancy, the fetus has basically entered the pelvis, and after entering the pelvis, the fetus's head will press on the bladder. In the later stages of pregnancy, as the growing fetus presses on the bladder, pregnant women will experience frequent urination, and even urine overflow if the abdominal pressure increases slightly. This phenomenon will gradually disappear after delivery. As long as the number of fetal movements is normal, it is generally fine.

What does a large arc of fetal movement mean in late pregnancy?

1. Before going to bed at night.

In the late pregnancy, the baby moves the most at night. On the one hand, he is more energetic, and on the other hand, pregnant mothers can usually calm down and feel the baby's fetal movements at this time, so they will feel that the baby moves particularly frequently.

2. After meals.

After eating, the blood sugar level in the pregnant mother's body increases, and the baby is "full and full" and has strength, so the fetal movement will become more frequent than before the meal.

3. When taking a bath.

It may be because pregnant mothers feel more relaxed when taking a bath, and this emotion will be conveyed to the baby, making him more energetic.

Precautions for diseases in late pregnancy

1. Stomach pain:

Generally speaking, premature babies often use various means such as abdominal pain to send signals that they are entering the pelvis early, so severe abdominal pain in the late pregnancy may be a sign of premature birth. In this case, the expectant mother should go to the hospital for examination immediately.

2. Edema:

Physiological edema will not have adverse effects on the fetus and will slowly heal itself after delivery, so expectant mothers do not need to worry too much. Avoid eating foods that are too salty, difficult to digest, or prone to causing bloating on a daily basis. Avoid sitting or standing for long periods of time, and doing some proper exercise can also reduce edema.

3. Increased vaginal discharge:

Under normal circumstances, at 37 weeks of pregnancy, the position of the fetus in the mother's abdomen continues to descend, the lower abdomen feels swollen, and the frequency of irregular uterine contractions increases. Expectant mothers will constantly want to go to the toilet, their bowel movements will increase, and their vaginal secretions will also increase. They must pay attention to keeping their bodies clean because, in theory, delivery may come at any time.

4. Frequent fetal movement:

In the late pregnancy, normal fetal movements are usually more than 3 times per hour. More than 30 fetal movements in 12 hours indicate that the fetus is in good condition, but due to large individual differences in fetuses, some fetuses may move about 100 times in 12 hours, and less than 20 times means that the fetus has intrauterine hypoxia.

5. Malposition of the fetus:

Generally speaking, occiput anterior position is called normal fetal position in medicine. Delivery in this fetal position is generally smooth, while other types of fetal positions are abnormal fetal positions. If the fetal position is not adjusted 1-2 weeks before the due date, most of the time, a caesarean section will be required to avoid the birth canal compressing the umbilical cord and causing fetal deprivation of oxygen.
