Postpartum anal pain

Postpartum anal pain

If a woman experiences anal pain after childbirth, the most common cause is the pulling caused by normal delivery. During pregnancy, women often experience pain in nearby tissues and organs due to the weight-bearing. At this time, don't worry too much, but strengthen good conditioning, avoid eating hard foods, and be sure to prevent postpartum constipation.

Postpartum anal pain

1. Related to the heavy burden during pregnancy

It is normal to experience back pain or buttocks pain after childbirth. During pregnancy, the weight of the whole body tilts backwards, and the back, buttocks and waist become a carrier to bear the weight of the whole body. After childbirth, the pressure is suddenly released and the feeling of soreness or pain will occur.

2. Related to childbirth

During pregnancy, endocrine hormones cause the pubic symphysis to gradually separate, and the ligaments relax; during childbirth, endocrine hormones cause the cartilage at the pubic symphysis to dissolve. The relaxation of the pubic symphysis reaches its maximum extent during delivery, and sometimes even separation may occur. Especially for first-time mothers, in order to allow the baby to pass smoothly during delivery, they often use great force to stretch the pubic symphysis, damaging the pubic bone and surrounding ligaments, causing pain in the pubic area.

3. It may be caused by postpartum rheumatism

Postpartum buttocks pain may also be caused by rheumatism. This is because women's tendons, bones and pores are closed during the confinement period, and rheumatism and cold evil can easily invade the body and stay there for a long time, which can damage the skin and tendons and bone tissues, causing postpartum rheumatism, and symptoms such as muscle and joint pain throughout the body, back pain, and sacral pain. You can seek Chinese medicine for diagnosis and treatment.

4. Overwork

Taking care of a baby after childbirth is an extremely energy-consuming task. In addition, new mothers are weak and lack energy and blood, and their pelvis suffers certain damage during childbirth. If the mother does not pay attention to rest after childbirth, or has improper feeding posture, etc., her body will easily experience various pains.
