How to avoid pregnancy without a condom

Many people know that condoms can prevent pregnancy, but they also know that condoms are not 100% effective. Condoms can achieve the actual effect of contraception by physically blocking the contact between semen and the vagina, preventing semen from entering the vagina. If there are no accidents during the use of condoms, the actual effect of contraception is very high. How effective is the actual effect of condoms in preventing pregnancy?

How effective are condoms as a contraceptive measure?

Condoms are now widely used around the world. Condoms can be used as contraceptive measures and can also prevent reproductive tract infections. Of course, the safety of condoms against various STDs is different. Theoretically, if condoms are used properly, their contraceptive effectiveness can reach 97%, but in reality, the contraceptive effectiveness of wearing condoms is only 80%-90%. Condoms can prevent pregnancy but they are not 100% effective, so you should learn more about other contraceptive measures:

1. The contraceptive method of external ejaculation mainly relies on the male's restraint. I believe everyone knows very well that the key to the emergence of a baby is the fusion of male sperm and female egg into sperm and egg. The sperm and egg combine in the uterus and the embryo implants, and the woman becomes pregnant. If during the process of intercourse, the man can slightly restrain his desires and does not ejaculate into the woman's body, then the chance of pregnancy will be significantly reduced.

2. Use special tools for natural barrier contraception, such as cervical cap or contraceptive diaphragm. These are devices that are placed inside the vagina to block the cervical canal and prevent male sperm from entering the uterus. The cervical cap or diaphragm usually also contains spermicidal chemicals to further reduce the risk of pregnancy. For women who have never been pregnant, the efficacy is as high as 86%. If the woman is pregnant, the efficiency will drop to 71%.

3. Take birth control pills. Emergency contraception includes short-term birth control pills and birth control pills.
