What does nonspecific vaginitis mean?

The characteristic of nonspecific vaginitis is that it is caused by a mixed bacterial infection. Vaginitis that is not caused by Candida albicans is called nonspecific vaginitis and is also called bacterial vaginitis. What are the symptoms of nonspecific vaginitis? The following doctor will explain it to us in detail:

The common symptoms of nonspecific vaginitis are increased female secretions and purulent and serous symptoms. After women are infected with nonspecific vaginitis, the clinical symptoms are vulvar itching and abnormal leucorrhea. Women with nonspecific vaginitis will experience discomfort in their private parts, such as swelling, itching, pain and burning. Increased female secretions are also a major manifestation of nonspecific vaginitis. Most were dark grey, purulent and horrible.

Because of the increase in female secretions, the urethral opening of female friends may be affected. Therefore, women who experience symptoms such as painful urination, frequent urination, and urgency may have been infected with nonspecific vaginitis. Nonspecific vaginitis can easily cause vaginal adhesions, subcutaneous vaginal abscesses or uterine pyometra, which can lead to pelvic inflammatory disease, placental abruption, hcg amnionitis and other manifestations. Patients must receive basic treatment as soon as possible after discovery.

If the patient has the above symptoms, there is a high possibility of nonspecific vaginitis. It is recommended to go to the hospital for a physical examination immediately. Vaginitis is usually diagnosed through routine leucorrhea examination. In addition to abnormal leucorrhea, infection and non-specific vaginitis, women may also have increased discharge, fishy smell and vaginal burning sensation, which are all typical symptoms of non-specific vaginitis.

The traditional treatment of nonspecific vaginitis is mainly oral antibiotics or topical creams to kill pathogens, combined with topical washes to flush the vagina to inhibit pathogens. Although it has a certain inhibitory effect on inflammation, the actual effect is not very good and it is easy to relapse. Because many antibiotics will also kill many beneficial bacteria, causing imbalance of intestinal flora in the vagina. Excessive washing will inhibit the lactic acid bacteria in the female vagina, causing bacterial imbalance and causing inflammation. Therefore, by promptly treating nonspecific vaginitis, we can quickly resolve the symptoms and improve our quality of life.
