What tests should be done for breast tenderness?

There are many reasons for breast pain. If breast pain occurs before or after menstruation, it is normal. However, if it does not occur before or after menstruation, you need to go to the hospital for breast ultrasound and breast mammography. Before finding out the cause, it is best not to take medicine indiscriminately. You must find out the cause and then treat it symptomatically. It is best to take medicine under the guidance of a doctor.

Common breast examination items:

1. Breast physical examination: The doctor mainly examines the breast morphology, surface skin, nipple and areola, nipple discharge and regional lymph nodes through inspection and palpation to understand whether there are any breast lumps and the nature of the lumps. This examination is simple and easy to perform, but it can only be used as an initial examination and generally cannot provide a definitive diagnosis.

2. Breast infrared examination: Use an infrared light source probe to perform a X-ray scan of breast tissue, use the different infrared absorption rates of normal and diseased tissues to form images, conduct a comprehensive analysis of the gray shadows of the masses, vascular changes, and the relationship between blood vessels and masses, and diagnose breast diseases. This examination is easy to operate, economical, intuitive, and non-radioactive. It can output and store the examination results in the form of photos, and is easily accepted by the examinees. It is particularly suitable for surveys and screening of high-risk groups, and is also suitable for breast examinations in pregnant and lactating women.

3. Breast B-ultrasound examination: a method of examining breast diseases using a high-frequency probe B-ultrasound examination device. Breast B-ultrasound examination is a non-invasive, painless and side-effect free examination method. It can be used for any age and any physiological state. It can be repeated for control examination and has high resolution for breast tissue. It is especially accurate in distinguishing whether a breast lump is cystic or a substantial change.

4. Breast molybdenum target X-ray examination: The pictures taken by the molybdenum target X-ray machine can clearly show some subtle structures and small lesions of the breast. It is currently the most effective method for diagnosing early breast cancer and distinguishing benign and malignant tumors. For women who suspect a breast lump, breast cancer antigen, breast ductoscopy, breast pathology examination (including cytopathology and histopathology), and breast CT examination can also be performed.
