Is being sleepy before your period a sign of pregnancy?

Many women not only experience lower abdominal pain during their menstrual period, but also feel drowsy. Some women will therefore wonder if they are pregnant, because drowsiness is also a reaction to early pregnancy. Is it normal for women to feel sleepy during their menstrual period? So will it lead to pregnancy if you feel sleepy before your period? Does feeling sleepy before menstruation increase the chances of pregnancy? In fact, due to some physiological reasons, women's resistance will be reduced to a certain extent before, during and after menstruation, and they will always feel sleepy.

It is a normal physiological need. Female friends should appropriately increase their rest days on these special days, have a regular schedule, a balanced diet, a stable mental state, eat more high-protein foods, and eat more fresh fruits and vegetables.

Lack of rest may also cause excessive sleepiness during menstruation. Women who feel extremely sleepy during menstruation should strengthen their physical fitness, such as: running, boxing, playing ball, choose an exercise method they like, and stick to it for a long time. Eat less sweet and high-fat foods, eat more winter melon in summer, eat more radish in winter, and you can also cook porridge with coix seed and red bean. Generally speaking, women who have particularly heavy periods should pay attention to their daily lives and take medication under the guidance of a doctor, which can be treated very well.

Early pregnancy symptoms

1. End of menstrual period

This is the most common sign of pregnancy that people notice. If a woman is of childbearing age and has normal menstruation, and has sexual intercourse for more than two weeks beyond the normal menstrual period, she may be pregnant. But it does not mean that you are pregnant if your period does not come. There are many reasons for the missed period, such as poor uterine and ovarian function, abnormal male hormones, busy work, exam anxiety, etc., which can all cause delayed menstruation.

2. Easy to get tired

During early pregnancy, many women feel tired, weak, and sleepy. But this stage will not last too long and will pass quickly. Women who have had enough sex life but still do not have menstruation one week after the menstrual cycle should go to the hospital to check their urine to check whether they are pregnant.

3. Poor appetite

Some women begin to experience a change in appetite shortly after their menstrual period (1-2 weeks). I don’t like to finish my favorite food at this time. I don’t like to finish the food I’ve eaten once the second time. Some people really don't want to eat or even want to vomit, some people love to eat things with strange taste. Generally after a dozen days to a month, these symptoms will naturally disappear.

4. Breast pain and tenderness

During pregnancy, under the joint stimulation of female hormones and estrogen, the breasts gradually grow larger, the color of the nipples and nipples becomes darker, and there are dark red lumps around the nipples. After 12 weeks, a small amount of cold watery milk will continue to be secreted.
