Second recurrence of candidal vaginitis

Second recurrence of candidal vaginitis

Vaginitis candidiasis is a gynecological disease that will recur. Each attack will cause a lot of pain to the female's vagina. The most obvious symptom is that the female's vagina will often itch, and it may even cause women to be unable to sleep at night. As the frequency of candidal vaginitis increases, the condition will become more serious, so women should master the correct treatment method. So, what should you do if candidal vaginitis recurs for the second time?

Method 1 for curing candidal vaginitis: Both husband and wife should be treated at the same time

After a woman suffers from candidal vaginitis, she can transmit the pathogen to her husband through sexual intercourse, making her husband a carrier as well. About 10% of men may develop balanoposthitis. If only the woman is treated and the man is not, then even if the woman is cured, she will be reinfected by her husband, causing Candida to be repeatedly transmitted between the couple, and the woman's candidal vaginitis will recur.

Method 2 for curing vaginal candidal infection: Pay attention to personal hygiene

The vulva should be cleaned every day. During illness, it is best to use boiling water to iron underwear, towels, etc. Avoid washing underwear and socks together. Although it is rare for fungal vaginitis to be caused by tinea pedis, it is not impossible. If the bacteria that causes tinea pedis is Candida albicans, then the above practices will cause self-infection.

Method 3 for curing vaginal candidal infection: Wiping the vulva is important

If you always wipe the vulva from the anus to the urethra after defecation, you may bring Candida in the intestines into the vagina, repeatedly causing candidal vaginitis.

Method 4 for curing candidal vaginitis: Do not stop taking the medicine at will

After treatment, patients with candidal vaginitis still need to go to the hospital for a gynecological examination and vaginal secretion test after each menstruation, for three consecutive times. If signs of Candida infection are found once during this period, it cannot be considered cured, but rather a relapse or reinfection, and continued treatment is required. Improper use of medication is an important cause of recurrence of the disease.
