Miscarriage can cause blockage of fallopian tubes

Abortion is a very common method of terminating pregnancy, but this method is very harmful to women's bodies. After abortion, women are similar to giving birth, and they need a month to recuperate. During this period, the damage caused by abortion is likely to cause women's fallopian tubes to be blocked, and they will feel abdominal pain. So what should be done if abortion causes fallopian tube blockage?

The main causes of fallopian tube obstruction include the following:

1) Gynecological inflammation: such as female genital tract inflammation, cervicitis, pelvic inflammatory disease, salpingitis, adnexitis, etc., which are often caused by the failure to receive timely treatment or ineffective treatment, resulting in the continued occurrence of the disease. Due to long-term inflammatory stimulation, the fallopian tubes become edematous, thickened, hardened, and the lumen becomes adhered, narrowed, and finally blocked, causing tubal obstruction infertility.

2) Artificial abortion: Artificial abortion is the main cause of fallopian tube blockage. During abortion surgery, women often suffer from various inflammatory infections due to mechanical stimulation, improper operation or incomplete abortion. As various pathogens invade one after another, they spread from the uterus to the pelvic cavity and fallopian tubes, causing fallopian tube infection and blockage.

3) Long-term female genital bleeding: Irregular female genital bleeding such as menorrhagia, prolonged menstruation, continuous menstruation and even two menstruations in one month are often caused by gynecological tumors, dysfunction, uterine lesions and other reasons. If not treated in time, secondary inflammation and infection will occur over time, leading to ulceration, adhesion and blockage of the fallopian tube wall.

4) Unclean sexual life: Unclean sexual life is the trigger of many diseases. Patients often contract various diseases due to unclean sexual life, such as gynecological diseases, sexually transmitted diseases, etc. These diseases will lead to secondary fallopian tube inflammation, thus causing varying degrees of fallopian tube blockage.

5) Other factors: such as fallopian tube endometriosis, abdominal surgery, appendicitis surgery, IUD removal and tuberculosis, etc., can all cause secondary infection of the fallopian tube, leading to blood flushing, edema, adhesion and blockage of the fallopian tube wall.
