What to do if you always bleed during ovulation

During the ovulation period, there will be some changes in the endocrine system of the female body, so some abnormal conditions will also occur in the body. However, most women only secrete leucorrhea and rarely bleed during ovulation. Therefore, when a woman bleeds from her lower body during ovulation, it often makes female friends very panic. So what should women do when they always bleed during ovulation?

What to do if you often have ovulation bleeding

Frequent ovulation bleeding can be treated by taking a small amount of estrogen orally. For example, Progynova should be taken from the 8th to 10th day of the menstrual cycle and last for 3 to 7 days. You can also take a small amount of hemostatic drugs, such as Anluoxue. According to different syndromes, Chinese medicine treatment can include oral administration of Zhibai Dihuang Pills (yin deficiency), Jiawei Xiaoyao Pills (liver depression), Ankun Granules (damp heat), Longxuejie Tablets (blood stasis), Shenling Baizhu Powder (spleen deficiency), etc., or oral decoctions, and good therapeutic effects can be achieved in combination with acupuncture.

According to traditional Chinese medicine, the main causes of intermenstrual bleeding are Yin deficiency, liver depression, damp-heat, blood stasis, spleen deficiency, etc., which cause the Chong and Ren meridians to be disturbed during the period of stasis and the blood sea to be unstable.

Western medicine believes that as the follicles mature and ovulate, the estrogen level will drop significantly. For some women, the lower estrogen level cannot maintain the growth of the endometrium, causing local shedding of the endometrium and a small amount of breakthrough bleeding. But under normal circumstances, after ovulation, with the formation of the corpus luteum, the corpus luteum secretes estrogen and progesterone, which will quickly repair the endometrium and change it to the proliferative phase, allowing the endometrium to thicken and repair and the bleeding to stop.

What are the symptoms of ovulation bleeding?

A woman's ovulation date is generally about 14 days before the next menstrual period. To be on the safe side, we call the 5 days before and 4 days after ovulation, together with the ovulation day, a total of 10 days, the ovulation period. The rest of the time except the menstrual period is called the safe period. Why do many women bleed during ovulation? Ovulation bleeding is also known as mid-menstrual bleeding, which refers to a small amount of bleeding between two normal menstrual periods, which may be accompanied by varying degrees of lower abdominal pain. Clinical manifestations are as follows:

1. Uterine bleeding. During the menstrual cycle with ovulation, ovulation uterine bleeding occurs. The amount of bleeding is small, and some are only brown secretions. It usually stops on its own in 2-3 days, and the longest time is 7 days.

2. Abdominal pain. Cyclic intermenstrual pain can be mild or severe and usually lasts for several hours, but in some patients it may last for 2-3 days.

3. Infertility. It may be caused by stopping sexual life due to ovulation bleeding, thus missing the opportunity of conception. Note: Generally there are no obvious positive signs. The diagnosis can be confirmed by diagnostic curettage, basal body temperature measurement (basal body temperature is biphasic, and bleeding occurs when low and high temperatures change), and laparoscopy. If the symptoms are mild, no treatment is needed. If the bleeding is heavy or affects fertility, medication can be used for treatment.
