Can I eat pineapple while breastfeeding?

Pineapple is a very common fruit in our lives and is loved by many people for its unique taste. However, we know that during the breastfeeding period, special attention should be paid to diet. Many fruits that can be eaten at other times cannot be eaten during the breastfeeding period. Some of them affect health, and some affect the normal secretion of milk. So, can you eat pineapple during breastfeeding? Let’s take a look below.

Breastfeeding mothers can eat pineapples, but they should not eat too much at one time. The glycosides and bromelain contained in pineapple can easily cause human allergies, and breastfeeding is a sensitive period. If you are uncertain, it is best to eat less pineapple to prevent allergens from acting on the baby through breast milk and causing allergies in the baby.

Generally speaking, people who are allergic to pineapples will experience abdominal pain, vomiting, diarrhea, dizziness, flushed skin, itching all over the body, numbness in the limbs and mouth and tongue within 15-60 minutes after eating them. In severe cases, they may also experience difficulty breathing or even shock. In order to avoid physical discomfort to children caused by eating pineapples during breastfeeding, breastfeeding mothers should be cautious in their diet.

Ways to reduce pineapple allergies:

1. Peel the pineapple, dice the pineapple, cut into slices or cubes, and cook in boiling water before eating. This will destroy the bromelain, eliminate the glycosides, and dissolve the serotonin in the water.

2. If you want to keep the fresh taste of pineapple, you can also cut the pineapple into slices or pieces and soak them in salt water for 30 minutes, and then rinse them with cold boiled water to remove the saltiness. This can also eliminate allergies and make the pineapple taste sweeter.

How to eat pineapple during breastfeeding

1. Pineapple and Pork Fried Rice

Ingredients: 1 pineapple, 50 grams of lean meat, 150 grams of rice, appropriate amount of oil, appropriate amount of salt, appropriate amount of soy sauce, appropriate amount of pepper, 1 spoon of starch, 30 green beans, appropriate amount of carrots, appropriate amount of corn.

practice:

1. Cut the middle of the pineapple and use a knife to make grids inside. Don't make the grids too shallow, otherwise the meat inside cannot be scooped out, and don't make them too deep, otherwise the skin of the pineapple will break.

2. Then use a small knife to pick out the pulp from the side and soak the pulp in light salt water for ten minutes. The operation is the same for both sides of the pineapple.

3. Prepare all the ingredients, take out the corn kernels, dice the carrots, dice the lean meat, and marinate with sugar, salt, pepper and starch for ten minutes.

4. After blanching the vegetables, remove them and set aside.

5. Heat the pan with cold oil, add the diced lean meat and stir-fry over high heat. When it turns completely white, add soy sauce to adjust the color and set aside.

6. Wash the pot, add the vegetable pieces, stir-fry over high heat until fragrant, then remove and set aside.

7. Put oil in the pot, add rice and stir-fry.

8. Add vegetable pieces and diced meat; pour in pineapple.

9. Stir-fry everything evenly, season, and serve.

2. Pork ribs with tomato sauce and pineapple

Ingredients: 300 grams of pineapple, 500 grams of pork ribs, 100 grams of green bell pepper, appropriate amount of oil, salt, oyster sauce, and tomato sauce.

1. Put the ribs into the pot with cold water and blanch them. Then add appropriate amount of salt to the blanched ribs, mix well, and marinate in the refrigerator for about 1 hour.

2. Peel the pineapple, wash it and cut it into small pieces. Cut the bell pepper into small pieces. Prepare tomato sauce and oyster sauce.

3. Heat the pan dry and fry over medium-low heat until the ribs change color and turn slightly yellow (no need to add oil).

4. Add appropriate amount of oyster sauce and water (about 1/2 of the ribs), cover and cook until the water is dried up.

5. When the juice is almost dry, add green pepper and stir-fry for a while, then add pineapple.

6. Add appropriate amount of tomato sauce and starch sauce, stir-fry evenly until the flavor is absorbed.
