Why do I have armpit pain before my period?

Why do I have armpit pain before my period?

Menstruation is the menstrual phenomenon of women. It is the most important physiological activity of women and the concentrated expression of women's fertility. Menstruation almost occurs according to a certain pattern and can have a great impact on women's bodies. However, menstruation can also bring many discomforts to women. Among them, many women are prone to armpit pain before menstruation. What's the matter? Let's take a look at the explanation below.

1. It is definitely swollen lymph nodes, there is no doubt about that.

2. The key is to figure out the nature of the breast lump. Is it breast hyperplasia, mastitis, or a breast tumor? If it is a tumor, is it benign or malignant? These are all things that should be clarified. B-ultrasound and chest X-ray must be done, which are helpful for diagnosis, and pathology should also be done if necessary. Rather than just suspicion, the suggestion should be clarified.

3. If it is breast hyperplasia, it is usually manifested as breast pain and lumps, which usually have a certain periodicity, that is, it is related to menstruation and hormones. The pain worsens before menstruation and decreases or disappears after menstruation. If it is a tumor, it is usually painless and unrelated to menstruation.

This is just a general rule, so we cannot completely rule out a tumor.

4. Malignant tumors of the breast, namely breast cancer, often cause enlargement of the ipsilateral axillary lymph nodes when metastasized, but there is usually no lymph node pain. The lymph nodes are hard, difficult to move, and have a rough surface. If lymph node enlargement is caused by inflammation, the lymph nodes are usually soft, smooth in surface, have good mobility, and are often painful. Many normal people have chronic axillary lymphadenitis, so there is no need to be too nervous about swollen lymph nodes.

Mastitis causes swollen and painful lymph nodes on the same side, often with fever, and has an acute onset, which is common in breastfeeding women.

5. The chance of breast cancer or breast fibroids is very small, and breast hyperplasia is the most likely. However, it is recommended to do some examinations, make a clear diagnosis, and then consider breast hyperplasia after excluding tumor diseases. It is better to be more careful.

6. If it is breast hyperplasia, it is not a big deal. The lump will disappear or shrink with routine treatment, so don't worry.
