The hose is not smooth

The hose is not smooth

Getting married and having children is every woman's dream. When a woman enters into marriage, she has the hope of getting pregnant and having a child. The ovaries are important reproductive organs of women. Every month or so, the two ovaries will take turns to ovulate and secrete estrogen and progesterone. The fallopian tubes will transport the eggs from the ovaries to the uterus for conception. Below I will tell you what the symptoms are when the delivery hose is blocked so you can learn about it.

The main symptoms of blocked fallopian tubes are as follows:

1) Symptoms are not obvious: Patients with obstructed fallopian tubes generally do not have obvious symptoms, but some women with obstructed fallopian tubes will experience pain on one or both sides of the lower abdomen, a feeling of heaviness, excessive secretions, low back pain, etc., and the menstrual flow will increase during menstruation.

2) Pain: Pain is the most important symptom of obstructed fallopian tubes, and the types of pain are also different. For example, dull pain, stabbing pain, heavy pain, soreness, severe pain, etc. will manifest in different female patients with obstructed fallopian tubes.

In short, the fallopian tube is an important internal reproductive organ. It has the function of transporting sperm, picking up eggs, and cyclically transferring eggs discharged from the ovaries or fertilized eggs after fertilization to the uterine cavity once a month. The main cause of obstruction of fallopian tubes is acute and chronic fallopian tube inflammation. Salpingitis can be divided into tubal mucositis and perisalpingitis, both of which are common causes of obstruction of the fallopian tubes.

What tests are needed

First step: salpingography

It is a very common examination method for tubal infertility. This examination can clearly show the location, degree and nature of fallopian tube blockage. This method can also identify endometrial conditions, fallopian tube and pelvic tuberculosis lesions. It is currently a very reliable method for diagnosing the patency of the fallopian tube. If the doctor's skills are up to standard, the accuracy rate is high and it is suitable for examining the isthmus and ampulla of the fallopian tube.

However, hysterosalpingography cannot diagnose extra-tubal factors that cause obstruction of the fallopian tubes, such as adhesions on the outside of the fallopian tubes, compression by ovarian cysts, and obstruction of the fallopian tubes caused by subtle lesions inside the fallopian tubes.

Step 2: Hysteroscopy and laparoscopy combined diagnosis

It can be used to check the adhesion blockage at the fimbria of the fallopian tube and the effect of adhesions around the fallopian tube on the peristaltic function of the fallopian tube. This method is used during hysterosalpingography to diagnose obstructed fallopian tubes when the cause cannot be determined.

Step 3: Fallopian tube endoscopy

It is an endoscopic examination instrument for visual inspection of the internal structure of the fallopian tube lumen. Through the fallopian tube scope, local microscopic lesions inside the fallopian tube lumen can be directly observed, such as lesions of the fallopian tube mucosa, fallopian tube cilia immobility syndrome, polyps at the fallopian tube opening, spasm of the tube opening itself, or mucus fragments in the fallopian tube interstitial part, etc.

Usually, this examination method is only used to diagnose infertility caused by abnormalities in the internal structure and function of the fallopian tube lumen when the cause of infertility cannot be determined after hysterosalpingography and laparoscopy. This examination method is the ultimate screening method for the cause of fallopian tube infertility.
